British talk show host Jonathan Ross attended the Death Note: The Musical on Tuesday, August 11, with his wife, Jane Goldman, and their son, Harvey. The Daily Mail shared photos of Ross and his son, who looked unrecognizable from when he last appeared in public years earlier.
Jonathan Ross & His Son Harvey Seen in Public Again
The last time Harvey was photographed, he had short blond hair; this time he had a full beard and long hair. He wore an all-black outfit for the event, while his dad posed in a brown button-down top with a clean-shaven face. Ross and Harvey looked so happy as they posed for pictures.
The publication reports that Harvey was also joined at the event by his fiancée, Muna Silver.
Ross and Goldman are also parents to two daughters, Honey and Betty. Ross had previously appeared on the “Table Manners” podcast with Jesse and Lennie Ware, alongside Honey, the Daily Mail reports. In their appearance, they discussed their family.
“Did your son Harvey used to dress up in superhero costumes as a child?,” Ross was asked, to which he replied, “Not really. We raised them all in a kind of somewhat gender non-specific environment, so whatever they wanted to do. Harvey has got the longest hair in the family, and largely unwashed. He doesn’t wash it often because he’s part of that gang who think you shouldn’t use soaps!”

Ross has had an incredible career, including hosting “Friday Night with Jonathan Ross,” “The Jonathan Ross Show,” and “The Last Resort with Jonathan Ross.” He also appeared on the reality TV show “Celebrity Traitors” and was a judge on “The Masked Singer UK.” His personal life has also been successful and filled with love. Ross and Goldman met in 1986 and married two years later, Hello! reports. He also told the publication his advice for a successful relationship, saying, “be nice to each other and talk.”
On August 23, 2023, Ross and Goldman celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary, and he marked the occasion with an Instagram post. “It’s our Anniversary!! 35 Amazing Years with my gorgeous soul-mate! Here’s to the next 70,” he wrote.
While Harvey stays out of the limelight, his sisters Betty and Honey have embraced it. Betty is a social media influencer, and Honey is a plus-size model and an advocate for body positivity. In an appearance on “Loose Women,” she discussed how her parents handled her weight as a teenager.
“They saw me, a teenage girl coming home saying, ‘I hate my body.’ They tried to give me solutions to a problem I brought to them, which was to lose weight,” she said, Hello! reports. “They presented me with diets, and diets, as we know, don’t work and are absolutely toxic.”
Her advice for parents responding to their children in this same situation is, “If you want them to have a good relationship with food and their bodies growing up, do not shame them.”
