One of Hollywood’s most beautiful movie and television stars, Raquel Welch, had a long-lasting career that began in the 1960s, earning recognition for roles in “Fantastic Voyage,” “One Million Years B.C.” “Bedazzled,” and “The Three Musketeers,” the latter of which won her a Golden Globe.
Welch sadly passed away on February 15, 2023, at her home in Los Angeles at age 82. She is survived by her two children, son Damon Welch (born in 1959) and daughter Tahnee Welch (born in 1961), whom she welcomed with her first husband, James Welch.
While both children followed in their mother’s footsteps, it was Tahnee who drew particular attention over the years, not only for pursuing a career in acting and modeling, but for her resemblance to the Hollywood icon.

According to her IMDb, Tahnee’s very first movie role was in the 1984 Italian film “Amarsi un po’,” before finding fame in the U.S. a year later in director Ron Howard’s 1985 sci-fi film “Cocoon,” in which she starred as Kitty, alongside actors Don Ameche and Steve Guttenberg.
Tahnee reprised her role as Kitty in “Cocoon: The Return” in 1988, before returning to Europe to star in an Italian mini-series and two Italian films. Returning to the U.S., she worked throughout the 90s, starring in “Night Train to Venice” with Hugh Grant, and in the 1996 biographical drama “I Shot Andy Warhol,” a movie that follows Valerie Solanas, the woman who attempted to assassinate Warhol in the late 60s.
Tahnee later appeared in much smaller films, including 1997’s “Sue” and the 1999 TV movie “Body and Soul.” Her last credit is working on a 1999 short called “Pyrite.”
Tahnee also graced the covers of several major magazines, including Vogue and Italian Vogue, and she famously posed for Playboy, where her striking features drew frequent comparisons to her mother.
In fact, her resemblance to her mother became even more apparent when both women appeared together on the cover of Interview magazine in 1993.
