Reese Witherspoon got together with her daughter in honor of her 27th birthday. As the mother-daughter duo shared a sweet moment together, fans couldn’t help but notice how much the women look alike.
Ava Phillippe Strikes a Remarkable Resemblance to Reese Witherspoon
Reese Witherspoon married her “Cruel Intentions” co-star, Ryan Phillippe, in 1999. They went on to welcome two children, Ava, 27, and Deacon, 22. Though Witherspoon filed for divorce in 2006, they worked out a co-parenting relationship for the sake of the children.
As Ava celebrates her birthday this year, fans can’t believe how much she resembles her famous mother.
“Happy birthday to my sweet girl Ava! Infinitely creative, thoughtful and hilarious. Keep shining your beautiful light, my girl. I love you! 💗✨” the A-lister captioned a sweet Instagram tribute to her daughter.
The women stand side by side, beaming at the camera. Many fans remarked that Ava has Reese Witherspoon’s facial structure, almost an identical match.

Throughout Ava Phillippe’s childhood and into her teen years, fans began noticing how much she was taking after her mother. Now that she’s an adult, some fans even have to look closely to determine who is who.

The Family Reunited For Deacon Phillipe’s Graduation
Even though Deacon and Ava Phillippe are adults, they still enjoy spending quality time with their family. In May, Deacon graduated from New York University. The family gathered to celebrate his major accomplishment.
On Instagram, the 22-year-old shared several photos from the special day. Ava proudly stood beside her brother, wearing a beautiful cream colored dress. Deacon wore his brilliant purple graduation robes. He also posed with his mother, who donned a sleeveless royal blue dress, perfectly chosen for the spring weather.
While speaking with Interview Magazine in 2020, Deacon revealed his passion for creating music.
“When I was listening to the radio in the car with my dad, something just clicked,” he told the outlet. “I realized there’s more to making music than just being a vocalist, and that a lot of times it’s the production that makes me feel something. I asked my dad about how it works, and he taught me all the stuff he knew, and then I started watching YouTube videos.”
Despite the divorce, Ava and Deacon Phillippe seem incredibly close to both their parents. Fans wish them nothing but the best as they navigate the future and adulthood.
