Lauren Alaina Explains How She’ll Cope on the Upcoming Tour in Relatable Admission

Lauren Alaina is getting ready to hit the road, and she’s doing it with a baby on board!

The season ten American Idol contestant has announced that she’ll return to touring, but she’s not hitting the road right away.

Lauren will once again open for Rascal Flatts in round two of their “Life Is a Highway” Tour, which kicks off in January 2026.

The “All My Exes” singer put up a post on Instagram expressing her excitement over returning to the tour, writing, “I’m so pumped to be back out on tour with @rascalflatts but I’m even more excited to hang with y’all!! Upgrade your ticket to VIP at the link in my bio. Let’s have some fun 💋”

Lauren first toured with Rascal Flatts when she was pregnant with her now two-month-old daughter, Beni Doll Arnold.

But the new mom’s announcement had fans wondering how Lauren Alaina would be able to tour with a 7-month-old.

The always transparent singer was happy to explain.

Lauren Alaina Will Take Baby Beni On the Road

During a “Get Ready With Me” video on her Instagram account, Lauren Alaina explained her plan for touring with an infant.

“I’m getting ready to go back out on the road and honestly, not really sure how to feel about it,” Lauren admitted. “I mean, I love what I do so I’m excited to, but scared to. Being away from her [baby daughter Beni] for 90 minutes sounds like the most impossible thing I’ve ever heard of.”

“Beni’s coming out on the road and her grandmothers are coming with me,” Lauren revealed.

“We’re going back out with Rascal Flatts on tour, I’m so excited about that,” she said. “I did the whole tour last time pregnant,” Lauren laughed, “And now they’re going to get to see what came out of the bump. Nicest guys ever, so I’m excited we’re going back out with them… but I’ll be able to see my feet this time.”

Beni was born June 11. She will be 7-months-old by the time her mom goes back out on tour.

Lauren Alaina Just Returned to Performing After Maternity Break

Lauren Alaina only recently returned to performing from a maternity break after having her two-month old daughter Beni Doll Arnold.

And she returned in style, performing with Sesame Street muppet Elmo on the Grand Ole Opry stage.

In an Instagram post about the night, Lauren tells fans, “It’s my first show back after having my daughter, and I had to do it, because I am singing with an icon tonight making the Opry debut.”

Lauren then beats out a drumroll and the camera pans over to reveal Elmo from Sesame Street beside her.

In the caption she writes, “This might be the coolest thing I’ve ever done… Thank you for letting me share the stage with you tonight, Elmo!! Let’s do it again soon? ❤️”

Elmo was all decked out in a cowboy hat and western shirt for his debut on the Opry stage.

The pair sang Lauren Alaina’s 2015 hit “Road Less Traveled.”
