It’s been many years since Camila Cabello was a member of Fifth Harmony. While Normani, Lauren Jauregui, Dinah Jane, and Ally Brooke continued without her for a couple more years, the band officially disbanded in 2018. Therefore, their appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ August 31 concert in Dallas left fans surprised and ecstatic.

The band posted an Instagram video of their performance with the caption: “Where were you on August 31, 2025? Thank you @jonasbrothers for having us. Felt amazing to be back.” In the comments, Cabello posted four red heart emojis.
Fifth Harmony Hits the Right Notes in Dallas, While Cabello’s Absence Left Some Unsatisfied
At the Jonas Brothers’ Dallas show, Fifth Harmony played the songs “Worth It” and “Work From Home.” Despite throwing support their way with her sweet comment, some fans showed their disappointment in Cabello’s absence.
“WHERE U AT BABY WHERE U ATTTTTTT???? @camila_cabello,” one person wrote.
Others noticed that it appeared the band used a track containing Cabello’s vocals for the songs.
“They could of just asked Camila to come back instead of using her soundtrack,” commented a fan. “All I hear is Camilla’s vocals,” wrote another.
However, most of the comments were from fans who were thrilled to see the group reuniting — with or without Cabello. Many also pointed out that her “Yours, C Tour” is currently in Australia, so she wouldn’t have been able to make it, anyway.

Fifth Harmony fans were understandably upset when Camila Cabello decided to leave the band. However, the singer revealed in 2024 what prompted her decision to exit the group she co-founded.
Gustavo Caballero/Getty Images for iHeart“I can remember waking up on tour and going to my hotel room at like 7 a.m. and going to my garage band and like writing songs, cause I didn’t want to do it while everybody was there,” Camila said on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast. “I had such a passion that turned into writing. And at first I was like, ‘Oh, maybe I wanna write for other people.’ But then it turned into like, ‘No, actually I want to sing these songs by myself.'”
“I started distancing myself from the group vision,” she continued. “And it felt like you know they were still really passionate and into that, and so, I was just like, ‘I’m not happy here anymore, it doesn’t feel aligned.'”
