Jelly Roll is moving into a new phase of his weight loss — and it’s about to get expensive. The “American Idol” season 23 artist-in-residence revealed that he now fits into designer clothing that he could never wear before.
Jelly Roll’s Latest Weight Loss Milestone Has Him Rocking Louis Vuitton Clothes
On September 15, Jelly Roll took to Instagram to share a couple of photos of himself looking very fit, sporting designer duds.
“I can fit in Louis Vuitton now,” he wrote in the caption. “Pray for my bank account.”
Jelly Roll added, “A hundred thousand thank-yous to the legend Skateboard P, his team, and everyone else that had a hand in making last night happen.”
In July, the singer revealed that he was getting close to a number on the scale he hadn’t seen since he was in middle school.
During an interview on the July 24 episode of the “What’s Your Story” podcast, Jelly Roll said that he was approaching a huge weight loss milestone.
“A lot of my food addiction … was about the young man,” Jelly Roll explained. “Because I got fat really young. Like, really, really young.”
The singer continued, “I was over 300 pounds coming out of middle school. I’m gonna be under 300 pounds for the first time since middle school the night I walk to that ring at [WWE] SummerSlam.”
He added, “That’s an exclusive here. I haven’t said that nowhere. My goal, for the first time since middle school, I will be under 300 pounds … for the first time since I was … we’re talking about literally now, 30 years.”
Jelly Roll noted that he has some big goals ahead, including a Men’s Health magazine cover in the next year and a “shirt off cover in ’27.”
