The former “American Idol” contestant put up a post on Instagram featuring a video that shows her singing another one of her hits, “My Next Boyfriend” in a recent performance, dancing with a man she pulled out of the crowd.
The caption over the video reads, “saw my ex-boyfriend in the crowd at my show so I made him dance on stage with me.”

Lauren Alaina’s unplanned dance is getting love from fans, and from the man she pulled up on stage!
In the post, Lauren wrote, “LET ME EXPLAIN… I used to pick a “Next Boyfriend” from the crowd every night to dance to this song with me. This is Zach, he was my “next boyfriend” almost 10 years ago at the Indiana State Fair. So when I saw him in the crowd last week, we knew what needed to be done. Everybody show Zach some love 😂 Best ex “next boyfriend” ever!!”
Zach responded right away, commenting, “It was an honor to be out of breath 🫡 lol. All seriousness there ain’t nothing like an LA party for real 😮💨🩵. Much love to you my ex Girlfiend 😂”
And other fans were quick to follow with one writing, “Hype that guy up, y’all! This is really special! You’re so kind, Lauren! ❤️❤️”

Lauren Alaina Will Soon Be Spending a Lot More Time On Stage
Lauren Alaina will soon be spending a lot more time on stage.
The singer has announced that she’ll return to touring, but she’s not hitting the road right away.
Lauren will once again open for Rascal Flatts in round two of their “Life Is a Highway” Tour, which kicks off in January 2026.
The “All My Exes” singer put up a post on Instagram expressing her excitement over returning to the tour, writing, “I’m so pumped to be back out on tour with @rascalflatts but I’m even more excited to hang with y’all!! Upgrade your ticket to VIP at the link in my bio. Let’s have some fun 💋”
Lauren first toured with Rascal Flatts when she was pregnant with her now three-month-old daughter, Beni Doll Arnold.
Beni was born June 11. Beni will be 7-months-old by the time her mom goes back out on tour.
