Witney Carson celebrated her advancement to the “Dancing With the Stars” semifinals by making a heartfelt post thanking her husband for all his support during her dance journey.
The 32-year-old shared a backstage shot on her Instagram Stories in which she lovingly beamed up at Carson McAllister, whom People says she married in 2016. In a sweet message she added to the post, Witney wrote that the best part about her “Dancing With the Stars” success is “I get to do it with him.” She added a tearing up emoji to relay her intense feelings before going on, “Every season he sacrifices his time and energy to uplift me. Carson is the strongest person I know.” The American Fork, UT native also called her husband “my personal hype man in every way.”
Witney then showed appreciation to her husband for putting up with her intense showbiz lifestyle, admitting, “He gets the stressed, burnt out, overwhelmed and emotional parts of me during the season and he continues to show up every day.”

Last night, November 11, marked a special show for Witney and her season 34 dance partner Robert Irwin, the 21-year-old son of the late Steve Irwin aka the “Crocodile Hunter” who worked to relocate threatened crocodiles to safer homes. The pair scored perfect 10s across the board for the first time as the show celebrated its “20th Birthday Party” in week 9.
The pair danced a graceful Foxtrot to the song “Footprints in the Sand” by “Bleeding Love” singer Leona Lewis . The performance was a tribute to Robert’s late father, and he was joined by his 27-year-old sister, Bindi, onstage as a projection of happier times with their dad lit up the dance floor.
Witney, who became a “DWTS” pro in season 14 at just 19 years old, celebrated the television milestone by writing on her Instagram Stories, “Tonight we celebrate 20 years of ‘Dancing With the Stars!’ What an honor and privilege to be here still. Kept getting emotional today imagining the little girl dreaming of being here one day. I’m truly grateful.”

After Witney and Robert clocked flawless scores across the board, fans reacted with glee in the YouTube comments.
