Cierra Ortega and Elan Bibas both left “Love Island USA” season seven without finding true love, but their courtship may not be over just yet, according to Cierra’s recent Instagram story.

PeacockCierra and Elan met on “Love Island USA” season seven, but their story didn’t start immediately. Cierra was the first bombshell to enter the villa, but Elan wasn’t part of the initial cast. Instead, he came in on day 17 as part of Casa Amor.
By the time Elan got his shot on the show, Cierra had already developed a deep connection with another cast member, Nic Vansteenberghe. Although she appreciated meeting new men during Casa Amor, Cierra was singularly focused on Nic. When Casa Amor ended and the cast members reunited, Cierra and Nic chose to continue their relationship.
Unfortunately, after Cierra was removed from the show, Nic quickly developed a connection with someone else. Nic and Olandria Carthen didn’t ultimately win, but they have continued dating since leaving the show. Elan has left “Love Island USA” season 7 shortly after Cierra was sent home due to being unpicked at a recoupling ceremony.
Are Cierra Ortega & Elan Bibas Dating?
Now, according to Cierra’s Instagram, she and Elan seem to have reconnected. Cierra posted a photo of the two sitting on what appears to be some sort of bike. They’re both smiling at the camera, but it’s not clear who took the photo.
Elan did not repost the photo, despite being tagged in it. He did, however, post a video at a restaurant with the caption, “Did someone say friends giving?” Cierra can just barely be seen in the video.
Although they’re clearly spending time together, we don’t yet know if Cierra and Elan’s reunification is romantic or platonic. Given Elan’s video caption and the fact that in the video, Cierra seems to be sitting at a different part of the table from Elan, it’s possible they’re simply spending time together as friends. That being said, they clearly had chemistry while on “Love Island USA,” and had Cierra been less connected to Nic, Elan may have been the right match for her.
Until either Cierra or Elan make an official statement, we won’t know the status of their relationship. If they are dating, we wish them the best and are hoping for another successful “Love Island USA” couple.
