Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt‘s daughter Jade just reached a huge teen milestone — she got her license! The HGTV stars shared the reveal of their surprise gift for their daughter and fans are loving it.
Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt Surprise Daughter With a New Car
On April 16, Mika took to Instagram to share a video of the moment they surprised Jade with a car.
“This is a moment we will never forget … Jade has grown up too fast, but we are so blessed to guide her through her journey,” she explained in the caption.
Mika continued, “She is the kindest and most beautiful human soul and deserves to be spoiled every once in a while :).”
“We prayed over her new car together for happy memories, safety, and to take her to fulfill her dreams,” she noted.
“Also Jade can I borrow your car?😂😂😂🥰❤️🙏” Mika added.
During an April 2026 interview with TV Insider, while discussing whether another season of “100 Day Dream Home” was in the cards, Brian mentioned that Jade was learning to drive.
“We’ve got to catch our breath,” he said. “We just wrapped filming season six, and I think the final episode aired just a couple weeks ago, on St. Patrick’s Day. So yeah, we’re gonna catch our breath a little bit.”
Brian added, “We have a lot of projects off TV, and Mika’s working on a different show. I’m teaching [our daughter] Jade how to drive. She’s about to get her license. So, we’ve got a lot of stuff going on when the cameras aren’t rolling, but we look forward to the cameras rolling again very soon.”

In the video, Brian shows off the new car and hides in the garage as Jade and Mika arrive home.
When the garage door opens, Jade asks her mom, “Are you for real? Oh my god! … Wait, are you serious?!”
Fans flooded the comments section with messages congratulating Jade on this milestone and praising Mika and Brian for giving her the special gift.
