‘Idol’ Alum Lauren Alaina Achieves New Career Milestone

“American Idol” season 10 runner-up Lauren Alaina is celebrating a new milestone in her impressive country music career. The singer took to Instagram to share her news in a video clip of her lip syncing to her hit single “All My Exes” (feat. Chase Matthews).

“My label just told me I’m the first female country artist in over a DECADE to have the #1 most added song at country radio for two weeks in a row,” Alaina wrote over the reel, in reference to “All My Exes.”

The country star and new mom shared her gratitude in the caption, writing, “THANK YOU THANK YOU!! I’m so grateful for all the love on this song! Y’all be sure to go stream it & request it to your local stations ❌💋”

On August 27 Country Insider announced that Alaina’s latest hit was in the top spot on country radio’s add board for two weeks running. So far in 2025, the only other single to achieve that feat was “I Got Better” by Morgan Wallen.

As of this publication, “All My Exes” has over 6 million streams on Spotify alone. When the song first hit 1 million streams a week after its release in May, Alaina and her husband celebrated with a cute Facebook video.

The couple was in the car when Lauren excitedly announced the news. “It’s my biggest release in five years,” she said. Her husband, Cam Arnold, chimed in to say, “One million streams equals one beer at the bar … I’m on my way to the bar to claim my prize now.” The couple proceeded to drive while singing along to the song.

Lauren Alaina Is Heading Out on Tour

Alaina is getting ready to tour again, much to the delight of her fans. The new mom, who welcomed her daughter, Beni Doll, in June plans to take her baby on the road with her. The singer will be joining Rascal Flatts for their “Life is a Highway” tour in January 2026.

“I’m getting ready to go back out on the road and honestly, not really sure how to feel about it,” Alaina shared in an Instagram post. “I mean, I love what I do so I’m excited to, but scared to. Being away from [Beni] for 90 minutes sounds like the most impossible thing I’ve ever heard of.”

The solution? Take her along with a little help from her family. “Beni’s coming out on the road and her grandmothers are coming with me,” Alaina revealed.
