“American Idol” host, Ryan Seacrest is back, and yep, he’s about to help us all crash into 2026 with style, sparkle, and zero chill. “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” isn’t just a TV show… it’s basically a nationwide party.
And ABC is going all in this year. From Times Square to Las Vegas, co-hosts are popping up in all the major cities, and the music lineup? Honestly, it’s giving legendary vibes meets current hits. Whether you’re chilling on the couch, streaming from your phone, or sneaking a peek while doing literally anything else, the energy is going to hit different.
Catch the show Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at 8pm ET on ABC.
A Lineup That Makes Staying Up Worth It
ABC teased the celebration with a promo that basically screams for us all to freak out a little bit. “This New Year’s Eve, the stage is stacked. Join Diana Ross, Post Malone, 50 Cent, Charlie Puth, Pitbull, and more as we count down to 2026!,” said part of the caption.
Yup, you read that right. Diana Ross and more, all in one night? Move over, everyone, we’re not leaving the living room. ABC literally made sure there’s a little something for every music mood, and honestly, we love that idea.
Co-Hosts Keep the Party Going
And it doesn’t stop at the music. Rockin’ Eve is going nationwide with co-hosts representing major cities. The rockineve Instagram announced they were “so excited to announce our New Year’s #RockinEve co-hosts.” The post went on to say that Rita Ora would also be in Times Square alongside Ryan Seacrest, Chance the Rapper would be hosting the Chicago party, and lastly Rob Gronkowski and Julianne Hough would be bringing the vibes from Las Vegas.
Translation: no matter where you are, there’s a little piece of the party happening right near you; or at least on your screen.
Ryan Seacrest Has Us Cracking Up
Of course, Ryan isn’t just standing there counting down minutes. He posted a video on Instagram that was captioned, “That moment when you stop counting down and the vibes start climbing up.” The clip has him in front of the iconic NYE ball before cutting to the iconic Jon Hamm dancing in a nightclub to “Turn the Lights Off” by Kato from Episode 8 of “Your Friends & Neighbors.” It’s chaotic, it’s funny, and honestly, it makes you want to start celebrating right now.
So grab your drink of choice, practice your “10…9…8…” yell, and maybe clear a little dance space in your living room. ABC’s Rockin’ Eve 2025-2026 with Ryan Seacrest is promising music, laughs, and nationwide energy that’s basically impossible to resist. Yep, this is the New Year’s Eve we actually deserve.
