Amy Sand

Amy Sand is an entertainment journalist specializing in Bravo and Taylor Swift coverage at EntertainmentNow. Amy’s byline has appeared in PS, AltOhio, and Edible Omaha. She’s inspired by viral moments that say something bigger about our culture. Beyond writing articles, Amy has worked as a content editor, creative writer, and grant writer. She’s written a spec script that made it to the second round at the Austin Film Festival and performed stand-up around Nebraska and Iowa. Amy writes for Milford Magazine, a community magazine in Omaha, Nebraska. Amy has a B.F.A. in creative writing from Stephens College in Columbia, MO. There, she had the pleasure of hosting a radio game show, announcing basketball games, writing for a radio drama, and leading the literary magazine as the editor-in-chief. In her senior year, she was named an Outstanding Creative Writing Senior, served as the president of the Sigma Tau Delta chapter, and was selected to represent "Sensitivity" as a part of the Ten Ideals. She is pursuing a Master's degree in journalism through the University of Nebraska—Lincoln.
