The Week 4 Power of Veto competition took place Saturday night around 8 p.m. PT, with Head of Household Haley Thogmartin competing against her three nominees, Drew Campbell, Melody Morris and Taylor Brown, along with two players selected by random draw: Mallory Aurichio and Chuk Anyanwu.
Taylor Brown Wins the Week 4 Veto
The “Big Brother” live feeds went down for roughly three hours as the houseguests competed in the backyard. When the feeds returned around 11 p.m. PT, viewers learned that Taylor had won the Power of Veto.
The victory created a worst-case scenario for Haley.
Taylor, who currently sits on the block, will almost certainly use the Power of Veto to remove herself from the block. That would mark the fourth time this season that a Veto winner has used the power, forcing Haley to name a replacement nominee during Monday’s Veto meeting.
Drew Could Be the Replacement Target
Several members of Haley’s Toolshed alliance have wanted to send Drew home for weeks. Angela Murray has led the push against him, accusing the California dental assistant of playing both sides of the house and growing especially close to Melody.
The live feeds have shown viewers that Drew and Melody have indeed formed a close bond. The two recently shared personal secrets and pinky-swore to keep them between themselves.
Melody revealed that she works as a game show host, while Drew claimed — potentially falsely — that he has a connection to a former “Big Brother” houseguest. He suggested that the person could be Tucker Des Lauriers from “Big Brother 26.”
“I know he’s coming for me,” Angela told the cameras about Drew. “I can see it in his eyes. He wants me gone because I know he sees me working my way, too. But he’s more everywhere. He’s in every conversation. So, he needs to go.”
What Happens at the Veto Meeting?
Drew believes Haley nominated him as a pawn. However, with Taylor now holding the Power of Veto, his position in the game could become much more dangerous.
Taylor’s expected decision to remove herself from the block will force Haley to choose another nominee. If Haley and her allies follow through on their plans, Drew could find himself in a much more vulnerable position heading into the next eviction.
Fans will have to wait for the Veto meeting to see who Haley ultimately puts on the block.
