Amber Siyavus, who competed on Season 8 of “Big Brother,” has passed away at the age of 46, TMZ reports.

She died on Friday, Oct. 9, according to records obtained by the outlet from the Clark County Office of the Coroner/Medical Examiner in Nevada. Her cause and manner of death are listed as pending.

Siyavus appeared on the CBS reality show during the 2007 season, earning the nickname “Whamber” due to her emotional nature inside the house.

“I love the fact that I cry. Not many people show their emotions at all, period,” she told Reality TV Café in 2007. “I cry back home. I cry when I’m happy. I cry when I’m sad. I’m a from the heart person. I’m empathetic. I’m sympathetic. I feel people’s pain as if it were my own.”

“I love that I showed America that it’s okay to cry,” she added

During her time on the show, she formed bonds with Jameka Cameron and Dustin Erikstrup. Siyavus finished seventh on the show.

Following news of her passing, Big Brother host Julie Chen Moonves shared a tribute to Instagram, writing, “Rest in Peace, Amber.”

“Hard to believe, but I know you are back in our eternal home with our Creator,” she continued. “Thank you for your heart and honesty. We will remember you with love.”

Season 8 winner Dick Donato also shared a note on X.

“This is a shame,” he wrote. “I contacted her on FB to give her some encouraging words about staying clean. I hadn’t spoken to her since just after the show. RIP Amber, your battle is over. Sigh.”
