While fans are recently buzzing over “Summer House” stars Amanda Batula and West Wilson confirming their romance, season 10 of the Bravo series is spotlighting some exciting personal growth from Ciara Miller.
During the March 31 episode, Miller revealed to her Hamptons housemates that she had officially purchased her grandparents’ home in North Carolina, a lifelong dream she’s thrilled to keep in the family. The purchase is especially meaningful to Miller, with fans thrilled that she’s making this milestone a reality.
Ciara Miller Shares She Has Purchased Her Grandparents’ Home in North Carolina
GettyOn a recent episode of “Summer House,” Ciara Miller shares some big news with her housemates. She is officially a homeowner and is preparing for renovations after buying her grandparents’ home in North Carolina.
“I’m going to North Carolina this week. I’m going to go meet with an architect for my house,” she tells her castmates. “It’s my grandparents’ house. So, I bought their house from my dad and his siblings.”
She added, “I want it to stay in my family’s name forever.”
In a confessional, Miller provides more detail on her big purchase. “I knew my grandparents’ house was going to be up for sale, and so, I’ve been prepping to do this for the past year. Growing up, once my parents got divorced, we probably lived in like five different houses from kindergarten to high school.”
She also explained the significance of the home. “My grandparents always just had that one house. My grandfather built this house. It’s where my dad and his siblings grew up,” she said, adding, “The holidays were spent here. This is definitely the house that raised me.”
Miller went on to note how proud she was of herself for having saved her money so that she could afford the house and have it “remain” in her family.
“It’s just a way of me honoring all my grandparents’ hard work, and the sacrifice that they went through to even have a home, and build a home for their family, and I hope to be able to have that with my family one day,” she shared with the cameras.
Mia Calabrese Shares Why Miller’s Purchase Was a ‘Very Big Deal For Her’
After Miller shared the exciting news, season 10 newcomer Mia Calabrese wanted to let her housemates understand just how important this move was for her.
“Can I just say, I’m so proud of Ciara, because this was a long back-and-forth that she was going through with everyone, and you handled it, and you were so calm the whole time, and I know it means so much to you that you got this house…And I’m so proud of you,” Calabrese said, which made Miller tear up.
“She’s trying to downplay it, but this is a very big deal for her,” Calabrese added, with the rest of the castmates showing Miller support for her major move.
After Bravo posted the clip on their Instagram, fans shared comments about what a supportive friend Calabrese has been for Miller, not only for this particular scene, but throughout this summer.
“Cried!!! What a beautiful thing to be able to do. She is amazing and the way Mia acknowledged her. ❤️” A fan shared. “Mia’s support! What a friend ❤️,” another comment read.
“May we all be blessed with a Mia that speaks life into you and your accomplishments,” a fan wrote.
Miller’s Big Career Move Away From Reality TV
It’s unclear whether Miller will return to “Summer House” for another season, or if a season 11 is even in the works, as a few of the stars, including Lindsay Hubbard, Kyle Cooke, and Amanda Batula, are gearing up for the spinoff “In the City.” However, it looks like Miller is focusing on a new chapter in her life when it comes to her career.
Lately, fans have been seeing Miller hosting several red carpets this year. In late January, Miller was on hand to interview the stars of “Wuthering Heights,” including Margot Robbie and Jacob Elordi, during its Los Angeles premiere.
In March, Miller was on the red carpet at the Academy Awards, where she interviewed the biggest names in Hollywood with The Cut. And, most recently, the reality star interviewed the stars of “Your Friends & Neighbors” during the AppleTV series’ season 2 premiere.
