Fans of “Summer House” are showing support for Kyle Cooke after his estranged wife, Amanda Batula, seemingly confirmed she’s in a relationship with their co-star, West Wilson.
On March 31, Batula and Wilson posted a joint Instagram story to reveal that romance rumors about them were true. The two noted that the deepened relationship was unexpected and born out of a “genuine, long-standing friendship.”
Batula and Cooke announced their separation in January 2026, although they had been living separately since before the Bravo fan fest, BravoCon, last fall. Wilson was previously linked with Batula’s close friend, fellow “Summer House” star Ciara Miller.
Fans Reacted to the ‘Summer House’ Relationship News
On social media, fans were taken aback by the “Summer House” relationship confirmation, with some comparing it to the “Scandoval” scandal that took place on “Vanderpump Rules.”
“I feel for Kyle… and didn’t think I would ever have sympathy for him but this being his ex-wife and a close friend….ughhhh. Just WHYYYYYY! I pray Loverboy skyrockets and he books DJ gigs,” one fan wrote on Instagram.
“Never thought I’d be Team Kyle but here I am,” another agreed.
Another fan suggested that someone should check on Cooke. “The man was married to this woman. This was one of his best friends,” the commentator wrote.
“Wow I can’t even believe Kyle is about to look like the saint in this whole situation,” another commenter added.
“Poor Kyle! Betrayed!!! Hope you are doing okay Kyle!” another fan wrote shortly before Batula’s announcement was posted.
“Justice for Kyle!!!” another wrote.
Hours before Batula and Wilson’s post, Cooke himself posted a selfie of himself and Miller dressed as elderly people from the cast’s “Summer House” theme party. “Instagram vs. Reality,” he captioned the snap.
Kyle Cooke Didn’t Think Amanda & West Were an Item
BravoCooke previously said he didn’t believe anything was going on between his wife and his “Summer House” pal.
During a March 2026 appearance on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” the Loverboy founder admitted the rumors had been going on for a while but said he didn’t think the story was true.
“For it to go as long as it has in the in the news cycle is kind of shocking,” Cooke said at the time. “But no, I don’t think there’s any merit to it.”
He added that if the rumors were true, it would be difficult for their whole “Summer House” friend group.
“It would certainly catch me by surprise and feel a little reckless,” Cooke said. “And I think I’d probably be the last person people would be worried about. I think Ciara would probably have something to say. But if it made Amanda happy, I think I just would have to vote ‘yay.'”
