Craig Conover joked that he may need to leave the country as the 11th season of “Southern Charm” plays out on TV.
Speaking with People magazine in November 2025, the South Carolina businessman teased that the new season will be dramatic.
“I’m really excited for the fans,” Conover told the outlet. “I might be leaving the country for a little bit, but man, is this season fun and flirty. I think our OG fans will love it because it will feel a lot like old school ‘Southern Charm’ where they just got to know us and us figuring out these new chapters in our life.”
Conover, who co-stars on the Bravo reality show with longtime pals Austen Kroll and Shep Rose, noted that “most of the boys are in brand new chapters we didn’t expect to be in” this “wild” season. He also teased that there’s something beyond a love triangle that takes place.
Conover added that the drama didn’t stop when the cameras stopped rolling. “There is drama that exists right now from Halloween in Charleston,” he revealed.
Craig Conover Is ‘Bummed’ the Season 11 Drama Spilled Into BravoCon
BravoConover wasn’t happy that one aspect of his storyline—his headline-making split from Paige DeSorbo—spilled into the recent BravoCon fan fest in Las Vegas.
After his co-star Rose was caught on camera at a Vegas bar calling Conover and DeSorbo’s three-year relationship a “sham,” the Sewing Down South founder admitted he was disappointed.
“My assistant told me about it this morning. And I purposely said, ‘I don’t want to see it,’” Conover said on Sirius XM’s Jeff Lewis Live. “I’m aware of it, like, contextually. But I wasn’t there. And I was like, I had a great, knock on wood, a great BravoCon, and I stayed busy.
“I think I’m bummed because it brought me and Paige’s name into it where, and it looks like that was a big topic, but in reality, like, I don’t know, I had nothing but nice things to say about her and it wasn’t like it had nothing to do with us,” he continued.
Craig Conover Doesn’t Plan To Hide His Dating Life From TV
Getty ImagesDespite his high-profile reality TV breakups with DeSorbo and his former co-star Naomie Olindo, Conover told People he has no plans to keep his dating life off camera.
“I think it’s just part of my life,” he said in the interview. “It’s all I’ve known for — I started filming when I was 24. I’m [almost] 37 now. I like sharing my life with people . …We get to share the good, I’m not going to not share the bad. You get to see it all.”

Personally, I think Graig is living his best life. Staying away from bars and building new creative businesses. Shep pisses me off every season from the beginning. All he does is talk shade and try to get people to disrespect Greg They all have flaws. Shep is the laziness and spoiled trust fund baby. He made a fool of himself with the Bahamas girl. And yet he shades Greg’s X at bravo com calling his relationship a Sham?
