Inside Bravo’s ‘The Valley: Persian Style’: Cast, Premiere Date & What to Expect

“The Valley: Persian Style” is Bravo’s newest reality series, expanding the world of “The Valley” with a cast rooted in friendship, family, and Persian culture. First introduced at BravoCon during the “Peaks & the Valley” panel, the show follows a close-knit group of friends—including familiar faces from “Shahs of Sunset”—who have moved from Beverly Hills to the Valley as they navigate marriage, parenthood, careers, and long-standing relationships.

‘The Valley: Persian Style’ Trailer Teases Big Emotions & Familiar Faces

The “The Valley: Persian Style” cast includes “Shahs of Sunset” alums Reza Farahan, Golnesa Gharachedaghi, and Mercedes Javid, alongside a group of new faces.

Farahan and Adam Neely are more than a decade into their relationship and enjoying a calmer, child-free chapter. Reza is also in a better place with Golnesa and Mercedes after years of public ups and downs, though the trailer suggests old wounds are never fully healed.

Javid and Tommy Feight face mounting pressure as they juggle marriage, careers, and parenthood under one roof.

Meanwhile, Gharachedaghi has shifted her focus from nightlife to motherhood following a short-lived marriage that left lasting emotional and financial scars.

New Storylines Set the ‘Shahs of Sunset’ Reboot Apart From the Original

Now, about those new faces. Sky Asakari and Bamshad Akbar struggle to move forward as lingering resentment strains their relationship. Tanin Nikpey and Greg Haroutunian appear to have the perfect life, but cracks in their marriage push them to reassess what they want long term.

Natasha and Amir Boroumand attempt to keep their marriage grounded while raising young children, while Reza Jackson balances thoughts of settling down with his continued love of the party scene.

Ahead of the premiere, Farahan shared how former “Shahs of Sunset” castmates have reacted to the new series. Speaking exclusively to Us Weekly, he said many have been supportive.

“Lilly Ghalichi…has been unbelievably supportive and amazing,” Reza said. “I talked to Destiney [Rose]. Sara Jeihooni…has been really wonderful.”

Not everyone was as enthusiastic, though Reza took it in stride.

“I heard from Mike [Shouhed], who told me, ‘The show wouldn’t be that great. It wouldn’t have the sparkle and the magic of Shahs,’” Reza said with a laugh. “Why? Because you’re not on it. It’s so Mike.”

“Shahs of Sunset” premiered in 2012 and ran for nine seasons. Fans can stream it now on Peacock ahead of the new spinoff.

“The Valley: Persian Style” premieres January 8 at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.
