‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 12: Meet the New Cast

Lisa Vanderpump promised that Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” would return to its roots, focusing on her staff at her West Hollywood hotspot, SUR, where work comes with its fair share of drama.

On Nov. 3, Bravo released a brand-new trailer for the upcoming season with a fresh-faced cast that promises to deliver. While fans will miss seeing the likes of Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, and Tom Sandoval, this trailer sees plenty of drama, backstabbing, and steamy hookups between these SUR workers.

The Cast of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Season 12 Revealed

The new cast for the retooled “Vanderpump Rules” season 12 is finally here, and fans are already forming their own opinions thanks to a drama-filled trailer. According to Bravo, viewers will be introduced to 10 new cast members who work for Lisa as hostesses, servers, bartenders, and managers at SUR.

Venus Binkley is the friend who “holds the SUR staff together and the confidant everyone turns to for advice … and the latest gossip” but he also finds himself “roped into the drama” and is “forced to pick sides.”

Jason Cohen, an aspiring actor, works at SUR as a server. “His infectious personality and good looks have won over a few of the ladies and disarmed many of the men,” his bio reads. Cohen has his own fair share of drama as he “tries to date a new co-worker,” but it “backfires.”

Actor and screenwriter Shayne Davis does not work at SUR, but “winds up in the center of the drama” at Lisa’s establishment. There’s also Cohen’s cousin, Chris Hahn, who works as a bartender and begins dating his co-worker, Audrey, but not everything will go smoothly for them.

Kim Suarez is dating Marcus Johnson, but their relationship is deemed “tumultuous.” Her bio reads, “Kim wonders if her on-again, off-again romance will affect her performance at SUR.” Meanwhile, Johnson, who has worked at SUR for years, “has been struggling to focus at work and prioritize his relationship with his girlfriend, Kim,” after the death of his parents.

Rounding out the cast is Angelica Jensen, “the newest addition to SUR’s staff, but immediately makes waves within the group.” There’s Audrey Lingle, who is described as having “bubbly charm and girl-next-door charisma.” However, “when someone at SUR catches her eye, a certain bad boy might just get the best of her.”

Natalie Maguire has been working as a lead bartender for SUR for two years. She wants to become a bar manager, but her recent actions may put those dreams on hold. When Maguire is not working, she “is pursuing her pop music career.” Will Maguire out do Scheana Shay’s “Good as Gold?”

Lastly, there is Demy Selem, the SUR manager for the last seven years. However, her position as everyone’s boss comes with a price as her friendships are tested, especially with Maguire.

What Can Fans Expect on VPR Season 12

The trailer for “Vanderpump Rules” season 12 promises to be anything but boring. As Lisa shares in the clip, “I always said with my staff, ‘Give me anything, but don’t give me boring.'” And, they definitely delivered.

The press release for the new season reads: “This season on ‘Vanderpump Rules,’ the deep-rooted, dynamic group of friends, frenemies, and lovers that have been working for Lisa Vanderpump at SUR for years are shaking things up — from Pumptinis to chaos. Despite new uniforms and a few fresh faces in the mix, the drama remains as messy and complicated as their iconic predecessors.”

The trailer begins with Jensen arriving on a photoshoot to meet the staff members she’ll be working with. But she ends up hilariously falling in front of them all. The clip sees one staff member sharing, “I honestly work with idiots.”

Maguire is then seen speaking to Lisa about the possibility of becoming a bar manager, but her other staff members have plenty to say about her, with one stating, “Natalie is nice, but then she’s crazy.”

Further, there are rumors about an employee needing “a pump,” and other workers finding one another on Hinge. While the staff are seen having fun partying, there’s plenty of drama about not following “bro-code” and friendships being tested.

“Vanderpump Rules” season 12 returns to Bravo on Tuesday, Dec. 2.
