“The Wolf of Wall Street” fans now have the opportunity to own a piece of movie history.
The penthouse from the iconic 2013 film is now for sale. However, the stunning property comes at a sky-high price. The penthouse where Leonardo DiCaprio‘s character lived is currently listed for $4.95 million.
Now, the brokerage selling the property has unveiled photos of the luxurious space to entice sellers.
‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ Penthouse is For the Ultimate Luxury Seekers
PEOPLE reports that the penthouse boasts 2,700-square-feet and has plenty of space for multiple residents. The unit “features three bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, two terraces, and panoramic views of Manhattan,” the publication writes.
Moviegoers may recall the scene in which a character is dangled from one of the private terraces.
Of course, it also has plenty of amenities that make a luxury apartment complete. The penthouse comes complete with a chef’s kitchen, a customizable wet bar, and the primary suite’s bathroom features a spa-like atmosphere.
It’s not just a piece of cinematic memorabilia. It’s a home that defines luxury. The Fabrikant Bond Team holds the listing and wants $4.95 million for it.
“We are selling a little piece of Hollywood history,” Boris Fabrikant posted on Instagram this week. “This scene from ‘Wolf of Wall Street’ with Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill was filmed in our newest penthouse listing at the Milan! Located at 300 East 54th Street, PHC is a 2,700 square foot 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom with 11 foot ceilings and two private terraces off of a grand living room.”
Fabrikant attached several photos from the film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Jonah Hill mid-scene. Also included were snapshots of the penthouse as visitors might see it today. The Manhattan landscape can be spotted through the windows.
The online listing for the penthouse features a complete floor plan and map so buyers can see its placement in the city.
“The Milan Condominium — one of New York’s most iconic luxury addresses — has served as a backdrop in ‘Gossip Girl’ and in ‘The Wolf of Wall Street,’ adding extraordinary allure and star-power to this already legendary home,” the online listing reads.
The Film Was Based on a Memoir by Jordan Belfort
While audiences found “The Wolf of Wall Street” directed by the legendary Martin Scorsese wildly entertaining, it also served a greater purpose. The film was based on Jordan Belfort’s memoir of the same name. Leonardo DiCaprio played Belfort in the film.
Belfort and his business partner Danny Porush created brokerage house Stratton Oakmont, Inc. in 1989. Although appearing wildly successful on the outside, the brokerage participated in many schemes and fraudulent activities. The National Association of Securities Dealers kept its eye on the brokerage, and it was finally shut down in 1996.
Jordan Belfort and Danny Porush eventually pleaded guilty to securities fraud and money laundering charges. They received a reduced prison sentence as part of the plea deal and cooperated with authorities.
“The Wolf of Wall Street” is now available to watch across various streaming platforms.
