Fans Feel Alix Earle Was ‘Robbed’ of a Perfect Score Again — Flavor Flav Reacts

Alix Earle gave an incredible performance on “Dancing with the Stars” Week 8 for Rock & Roll Night, but the scoring has sparked controversy.

Alix Earle’s Fans Feel Her Score Was Wrong

Earle danced a paso doble to “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi with professional partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Their performance was terrific, and judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli all scored her a perfect 10. This was the second week in a row that the judges awarded the social media influencer 10s. Then Flavor Flav, the guest judge for the evening and a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, gave his vote, scoring her a 9.

Fans feel that Earle deserved a perfect score of 40 out of 40; instead, she got 39 out of 40. Last week, she got the same after guest judge Cheryl Burke gave her a 9. Fans flooded the official “Dancing with the Stars” Instagram page, which posted photos of Earle and Chmerkovskiy’s performance, minutes after they danced.

Reactions included “Best Paso of the night, and dance in my opinion!! Great job ALIX much love!,” “FLAV?????? Hellooooooooo?!??!!!,” and “My queen deserved 10s across the board.”

“Flava Flav should not be judging!!! This is insane! This dance was deserving of a perfect score!” an angry fan shared. “GUEST JUDGES STOP UNDERSCORING MY GIRL,” another fan wrote.

“THE FACT HE ROBBED HER OF A PERFECT SCORE,” a comment reads. “Robbed of perfect 10s,” another shared.

Flavor Flav Reacts to Alix Earle Scoring

Flav has heard the criticism surrounding his score and how fans felt it was unfair because he also gave Andy Richter a 9. Richter is an amazing person, but he is not the strongest dancer in the competition. The musician reacted to his score, writing a heartfelt explaination on X about how he made a mistake.

“As a judge on #DWTS,,, you hit your score on a computer first,,, then hold up the sign. I accidentally hit 9 for someone and told the crew I meant to hit 10,,, and they said they can’t change it and there’s nothing I can do. That girl deserved perfect 10s,” he wrote.

A fan replied, writing, “It seemed like you were struggling at first with the system so that is a bummer, but thanks for letting us know!!” To which Flav replied, “That’s why I kept looking down at the computer and got all confused, I thought I hit a 10.”

  1. Flasv’s comments were extremely generic for every couple. He isn’t qualified to judge AT ALL. In fact, I’ve never heard of him. He seemed to look around for his score number every time..very obvious. Pathetic at judging.
