The Actress Admits She Had Jitters Ahead of Season 34
Danielle Fishel was a household name in the 90s. After starring as Topanga Lawrence on “Boy Meets World” from 1993-2000, she revived the character for the spin-off, “Girl Meets World.”
While fans still adore her, Danielle admitted it had been quite some time since she’d been in the spotlight. She wasn’t quite sure how to handle the show at first.
“‘Dancing With the Stars’ was the first on-camera job I had done in a long time, almost a decade, and I was nervous,” the actress shared with Parade. “I didn’t know if I was going to enjoy it, and I just loved it. And the way my fans and the people who’ve always been there for me showed up to support me, I’ll never forget. It was week after week, seeing the comments and reading the Reddit posts, getting the emails, everyone was so supportive. So I’m really lucky.”
Danielle and her partner, Pasha Pashkov, ultimately finished in 8th place. She went on to join the “DWTS” 2026 Live tour for select performances
For now, the actress plans to continue co-hosting the “Pod Meets World” podcast. “Dancing With the Stars” will likely return to ABC this fall.
