Longtime “DWTS” pro-turned-judge Derek Hough is nominated as one of the Sexiest 40 Year Olds for People’s 2025 Sexiest Man Alive Readers’ Choice Poll, ExtraTV announced September 22 on their Instagram page. Derek Hough Reacted to ‘Sexiest Man’ Nomination
Hough commented on Extra’s post about his nomination as one of the Sexiest 40 Year Olds to joke, “Haha. I don’t stand a chance.” But Hough’s fans seem to believe he has what it takes to pull of a win. One replied to his comment, “I beg to differ. Respectfully.” Another fan declared, “You will win hands down, no contest. I will definitely be voting for you. Woo hoo.”
“You don’t have to worry, you got this!” commented another of Hough’s admirers. Someone else called him “My man crush since 2010.”
Hough, who is the older brother of current host Julianne Hough, has been winning hearts on the dance floor since his debut in season 5, which aired in 2007. His first victory came two seasons later, when he was paired with Brooke Burke. Hough’s most recent was in 2015, when he was paired with Bindi Irwin. Now in season 34, Bindi’s brother, Robert, has a chance to match her success. He is paired up with Witney Carson, who has one previous win under her belt from season 19.
Julianne & Derek Hough Have Three Other Siblings
On September 17, People published a story about the three Hough siblings who tend to stay out of the spotlight. The report says the famous dancers have three older sisters, whose names are Sharee, Marabeth, and Katherine.
While they might not be starring on national television like the youngest two members of the Hough pack, the dancers’ three sisters are super successful in their own ways. The story says Sharee is a skincare specialist and fitness coach, Marabeth is a Nashville realtor, and Katherine is an esthetician.
In July, Katherine shared a cut Instagram clip of her daughters doing TikTok dances with their uncle, Derek.
