It’s been a year since Anna “Delvey” Sorokin made her “Dancing With the Stars” debut. While she was eliminated in just the second week, she appreciated the rigorous dance training. She even decided to continue getting into shape after her time on the show ended.
She has now lost 40 pounds and has begun a list of other beauty treatments to complement her svelte new frame. In an interview with Page Six, the former fraudster revealed what she’s doing differently.
The Secrets Behind Her Stunning Body Revolution Revealed
Thanks to her portrayal on Netflix’s “Inventing Anna,” Delvey became notorious for her love of expensive and trendy things. So while Ozempic may be one of the first thoughts when her dramatic weight loss is brought up, she insisted that wasn’t the case.
“It just made me very depressed,” she said. “It made me feel like it sucked the life out of me.”
Delvey doesn’t love gyms, so she began using a vibration plate to build muscle, which has also helped with weight loss. She also started walking four miles a day after the range for her ankle monitor was increased.
She blames her time in jail for the reason she gained weight to begin with, noting that “The food is just the worst.”
“I looked really, really bad when I came out of jail, I think I was at my heaviest … and I was, like, really [self-]conscious,” she said. “It’s so embarrassing.”
“I was eating, like, Cheez-Its and Diet Coke from the vending machine … and I don’t eat meat, but you probably don’t want to eat meat that they’re serving in jail anyway,” she continued. “And then when I came out … I needed to eat everything that I was missing.”
Anna’s Go-To Treatments for a Flawless Look
Along with getting into shape, Anna Delvey has explored various beauty treatments. These include red light therapy for wrinkles, cryotherapy for inflammation, and facial microcurrents for skin firming. She has claimed to have had appointments with both Joanna Vargas and Joanna Czech (celebrity facialists to Naomi Watts, Mindy Kaling, Kim Kardashian, and Hailey Bieber).
Delvey has also tried salmon-sperm facials and the infamous PRP therapy. Also called “vampire facials,” the plasma from your blood is micro-needled back into your face to help with collagen production. While Delvey has receipts for many of her treatments, she also admits that some were gifts.
Delvey credits her increased ankle-monitor range with her new beauty routine.
“It’s much easier to look better when you’re able to leave your home,” she said.
