The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show took place at W South Beach in Miami Beach, Florida, on Saturday, May 30. The event included many well-known stars, all of whom were beautiful as they walked the runway with confidence and grace. However, one of the celebrities who really stood out was rugby legend and former “Dancing with the Stars” competitor Ilona Maher.

GettyEarlier in the night, Maher posed for photos on the red carpet wearing a brown bikini and a matching brown cover-up. While she walked the runway barefoot, she wore black open-toe heels for the photos beforehand.

GettyIn other photos from the event, Maher wore a blue-and-white striped plunging swimsuit with tie detailing at the waist. She accessorized with a large gold chain. A video of her walking down the runway was shared on Instagram by Sports Illustrated’s official account. “Icon @ilonamaher struts down the SI Swimsuit Runway,” the caption reads. “Streaming June 9th on Hulu & Hulu on Disney Plus!”
Fans flooded the comment section with their thoughts, praising Maher for her beauty and confidence. She has also been praised for being an exceptional role model for young girls. “Sooo glad my girls are growing up with her as a role model,” a comment reads. “If a Greek goddess was real in 2026 it would be @ilonamaher,” another person wrote.

“Dancing with the Stars” professional dancer Emma Slater, who was also included in the runway show, reacted to the video. “Sooo gorgeous,” she wrote. In addition to Slater, who also looked stunning, Jenna Johnson, Britt Stewart, and DWTS Troupe member Hailey Bills walked the runway. They also performed onstage alongside pro, Val Chmerkovskiy.
