Fans Praise Melissa Joan Hart for Giving Insight Into Her Family Life

Child star and beloved “Dancing with the Stars” alum Melissa Joan Hart has a lot to be thankful for this year, and when she celebrated Thanksgiving weekend, she was surrounded by the people who matter the most to her: her family.

Melissa Joan Hart Shares Video Of Her Sons

The “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” actress posted a video on Instagram over the weekend that gave a rare glimpse into her family life and showed the realities of being a boy mom. Hart and her husband, Mark Wilkerson, are parents to three sons, Mason, Braden, and Tucker. In the clip, you can see two of her kids annoying each other as they try to pose for a nice family photo. The relatable moment reveals a real side of Hart and her family, allowing fans to connect with her as a mom rather than a celebrity.

“What you see ….. vs what you don’t see. Behind the scenes with 3 boys! #PerfectFamilyPhoto,” she wrote in the caption.

The post’s comment section has been flooded with reactions from fans who are thrilled to see the clip. “Oh i know someone who can relate – i’ve been in a number of these,” a comment reads. “4 sons…. I feel this!“ another comment states.

Other reactions include, “I love that they were separated for the picture that’s me and my brother too. You guys look great I hope you had a good thanksgiving!,” “Beautiful family! You are truly blessed,” and “You are so real for sharing this- hope you are all having a great time, you all look healthy and happy.”

Melissa Joan Hart Reflects on Her DWTS Experience

Hart competed on the ABC dance competition alongside professional dance partner Mark Ballas in Season 9 in 2009. She placed sixth. In April 2023, she spoke briefly about her DWTS journey while discussing her inclusion on the singing competition, “The Masked Singer.”

“This was probably the second time I’ve ever sang live in front of an audience,” she told People. “I was so nervous. The only reason I could do it was because of the mask. It gave me anonymity where I could feel comfortable enough to really belt it out and get it done before anyone realized who I was.”

She also commented on how this experience on reality TV was different from DWTS. She tried to embrace every moment. “I just had to pull it together and enjoy every moment of it. I really did, I tried to do that on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ and I wasn’t really able to.”

So for this show, it was different. “I took this as a redo and had a blast,” she said.
