Robert Irwin & Witney Carson’s Finale Dance Scores

Robert Irwin’s “Dancing with the Stars” experience alongside professional dance partner and new best friend Witney Carson has been a beautiful thing to watch. Fans are invested in their journey, but could they win the Mirrorball Trophy and become the next champs? They are certainly putting on a good show!

This article will be updated live.

Robert Irwin & Witney Carson’s Judges’ Scores

For the finale on Tuesday, November 25, Carson and Irwin took to the ballroom to perform three dances. These include the Freestyle routine to “Black and Gold” by Sam Sparro and “The Nights” by Avicii, and Judges’ Choice, which is a quickstep to “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” by Jet.

There is also the much-anticipated Instant Dance segment, which will showcase the celebrity competitors’ skills and set them apart from the rest.

Their first dance of the evening was the Quickstep for the Judges’ Choice. They looked incredible out on the ballroom floor!

But how do judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli feel Irwin and Carson did? The pair scored 29 out of 30, and fans were disappointed that Inaba didn’t give them a 10. Some fans have come to her defense. “Carri ann was actually right. there was a clear mess up. still good dance  leave that lady alone.”

Fans have flooded social media with their thoughts, praising Irwin and Carson as a dream team. They have also congratulated Irwin for bringing so much joy and positivity to the competition, making it special to watch. “I’m going to miss seeing his shining face dancing on my screen every week,” a fan wrote. “Robert’s smile makes me smile,” another fan shared.

Their second dance of the night was the Instant Dance Challenge. Irwin blindpicked the Cha Cha, and the judges scored them 30 out of 30! Fans love Irwin, but many felt this was not a perfect dance because he appeared to make a mistake during the routine and was not on time.

The third dance of the evening was their Freestyle, and this time, fans were blown away! The judges scored Irwin and Carson a perfect score of 30 out of 30!

The Dream Team

Irwin and Carson have one of the sweetest and most genuine partnerships fans have ever seen on the show. Their dances and their friendship have left viewers and judges in tears on more than one occasion. They are the perfect pairing, but not one that anyone could have dreamed up before it happened.

In a November 11 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Carson reflected on how she “never in a million years,” thought she would dance alongside Irwin when she first met him as a child in 2015. He was in the audience supporting his older sister, Bindi Irwin, who competed on and won Season 21. She competed with Derek Hough.

“He was so little when he was there [during Bindi’s time on the show] and I had just gotten engaged,” Carson said. “Our age gap was very, very big, so that wasn’t even something that came to my mind. Even when [it] was announced earlier in the year that he was going to be on the show, I still didn’t think that we would be partnered together.”
