Harrison Ford is proving age is just a number — and fans are loving his latest fashion statement.
The Hollywood icon, 83, turned heads while celebrating the launch of his new whisky collaboration, stepping out in a traditional kilt for the occasion.
Ford posed for Cole Walliser’s “Drambot” activation during the event, with footage from the launch released on Tuesday, May 26.
Fans Loved the Look
The “Indiana Jones” and “Star Wars” legend embraced the Scottish-inspired look with confidence, pairing the tartan kilt with black socks, a simple T-shirt and a jacket.
The unexpected style choice immediately caught fans’ attention online.
“Oh my gosh I’m going to need his scotch,” one fan wrote after seeing clips from the event.
Another chimed in, “Love him in a kilt,” while someone else simply called the moment an “Epic moment.”
Although Ford wearing a kilt may have surprised some fans, the actor himself appears to be fully on board with the look.
Speaking to Variety in a May interview, Ford admitted he enjoyed wearing the traditional garment while celebrating his collaboration with the Scotch whisky brand.
“It’s a rare treat,” Ford said about sporting the tartan ensemble. “It’s extremely comfortable. It’s a bit breezy, but I’m a breezy guy.”
According to Ford, the kilt is currently the only one in his wardrobe.
Glenmorangie gifted it to him when the actor first teamed up with the company for an advertising campaign earlier this year.
The collaboration began in January 2025 when Ford partnered with the Scotch brand for a campaign directed by Joel Edgerton, filmed at Glenmorangie’s distillery in Scotland.
That experience eventually sparked the idea for a special whisky release now officially known as the Glenmorangie Harrison Ford Limited Edition.
Ford explained that the process of creating the whisky turned into a much deeper learning experience than he originally anticipated.
“First, I had quite a bit of knowledge to gain about their particular whiskies and the methods of work,” the “Shrinking” star recalled. “We began to narrow down my taste profile, more like tasting than describing in words because I didn’t have the words yet. It was an interesting process that went on for almost a year.”
The whisky launch comes during a busy stretch for Ford, who has also been making headlines for an inspiring speech he recently delivered to graduates.
Ford Addressed Students at ASU
Earlier this month, Ford addressed the class of 2026 during a commencement speech at Arizona State University, where he candidly reflected on mistakes he made when he was younger, according to KTLA.
“I was squandering my life in riotous living,” Ford joked while speaking about his college years.
The actor revealed he initially enrolled in a drama class simply because he thought it would be an easy A, but unexpectedly discovered a lifelong passion.
“Hiding in character, costume and makeup, I had a freedom, a bravery I had never felt before – and I got an A!” he joked. “I was, I realized, present for possibly the very first time in my life. My passion had led me to community.”
Ford also reflected on balancing carpentry jobs while trying to break into acting, explaining that even after success found him, he still searched for deeper purpose.
For now, though, fans seem perfectly content seeing the beloved actor embrace his breezy new kilt era — one glass of whisky at a time.
