When Mandy Moore showed up at the “Vogue World: Hollywood” event on Sunday, October 26, she was literally shining like the star that she is. Of course, part of that was because she naturally radiates beauty and charm, but also because she wore a red sequined dress that was absolutely shimmering.
Taking to Instagram on October 27, she shared glimpses of her look, and posted a few pics that showed her seemingly before the big event. Posing up against a white wall outside in the sunshine, her dress glimmered in the light. Other shots showed her inside, where her gown looked just as stunning.
Wearing her hair down with gentle waves and the perfect amount of makeup to complement the gown, Mandy truly let her dress be the eye-catching element of her entire look.

Mandy Likes to ‘Stretch the Creative Limits of a Red Carpet’
Although Mandy obviously knows how to slay at industry events, she still likes to have fun with her look. At the same time, she recognizes a few things about style when it comes to walking a red carpet or appearing in front of countless cameras.
“When I first started out [in my career], social media wasn’t a thing,” she noted while talking to The Guardian in November 2019. “There’s so much more scrutiny now — you’re going to be seen from all angles at all times.”
“It also means that [clothes] have to stand the test of time because the pictures are going to be out there forever,” she explained. “Looking back 20 years ago, not all my outfit, hair and makeup choices have held up very well — but I never regret them because I always felt great in the moment.”
She continued by saying, “Nowadays, I like to have fun and stretch the creative limits of a red carpet — so one day I might wear a suit, one day a bodycon dress, one day 60s blue eyeshadow and sequins, and look like a disco ball!”
