Hallmark star Autumn Reeser recently shared with fans that she was quite touched by something fun that the network planned. Hallmark scheduled a day featuring her movies, and it seems they did it in honor of her birthday.
She stars in a new Hallmark Christmas movie that is set to debut during the upcoming holiday season. As Variety noted, “We Met in December,” starring Reeser and Niall Matter, premieres on November 27.
In the meantime, Hallmark is allowing her fans to catch up on several of her prior projects. It turns out, they chose the perfect day to do it.
Hallmark Is Airing an Autumn Reeser Movie Marathon on Her Birthday
In an Instagram Story posted on September 17, Reeser shared a post from the network noting there would be an “Autumn Reeser Birthday Marathon” airing on Sunday, September 21. She added text that read, “This is beyond sweet! @hallmarkchannel is airing an entire slate of my films on my birthday this Sunday!!!”
Reeser noted that the marathon starts with “Junebug.” She wrote that it was “the film written by @sumwhere99 that we worked for 5 years to get made and that liberates the inner child within all of us.” The person she referenced is Summer Isreal, the screenwriter who wrote the movie, which aired in 2024.
The note on Reeser’s Instagram Story continued, “I’m so touched — and moments like this make me grateful to work for an independently-owned network that values community and celebrates LOVE.”
Hallmark’s schedule for the Reeser movie marathon shows that “Junebug” begins at 9:00 a.m., followed by “A Country Wedding.” “The 27-Hour Day” will be the third movie of Reeser’s aired during the Sunday marathon, followed by “Always Amore.”
Reeser Stars in Hallmark’s ‘We Met in December’ This Holiday Season
Variety shared a description of Reeser’s upcoming holiday movie with Matter. The storyline revolves around “Two strangers [who] meet on a layover and fall for one another.” Unfortunately, the movie teaser reveals that the two strangers forget to exchange phone numbers with one another.
The movie plot synopsis continues, “The next day, they fly to Chicago separately, just miss each other, and ’embark on separate quests to find one another.'”
Reeser plays the character of Annie Lane, and Matter portrays Dave Weeks, according to IMDb. The movie description notes, “They embark on separate quests to find each other, sharing wisdom and making significant life changes.”
