You’ll likely notice lots of country music in movies in 2025, given Hallmark Channel’s partnership with the legendary Grand Ole Opry. The iconic landmark is not only featured in “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas,” premiering on November 29, but was the spot where over a dozen Hallmark stars gathered on October 15 and 16 — alongside numerous country artists — to kick off the 2025 holiday season.

Hitmakers Mickey Guyton and Drew Baldridge were on hand to perform their new tune, “Joy to Your World,” featured in a new promo (seen above) that highlights 19 of the 24 new Christmas movies premiering this season, per People.

Baldridge and Guyton, a four-time Grammy nominee, are among multiple country stars who will appear in “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.” Also featured on the soundtrack and in the movie are rising star Megan Moroney singing “All I Want For Christmas is a Cowboy” and sister-act Tigirlily Gold performing “Mistletoe Tipsy,” per Hallmark press materials.

Guyton has two other holiday songs that will be featured in upcoming movies, too. “Save a Little Christmas for Me” can be heard during Tamera Mowry-Housley and B.J. Britt’s “Tidings for the Season,” and the song “Sugar Cookie” will air during “A Make or Break Holiday” starring Hunter King and Evan Roderick.

Meanwhile, country group Little Big Town’s version of “Santa Claus is Back in Town” will be heard in the highly anticipated “Three Wisest Men” with Tyler Hynes, Paul Campbell and Andrew Walker.

Country Legend Brad Paisley is the Voice of Hallmark Channel’s 2025 Countdown to Christmas Campaign

Country legend Brad Paisley plays a big part in this year’s holiday extravaganza. His new holiday song “Counting Down the Days” is the official anthem of the 2025 Countdown to Christmas promo campaign.

Paisley, who’s married to Hallmark alum Kimberly Williams-Paisley and is brother-in-law to beloved Hallmark star Ashley Williams, also provided two songs for “A Grand Ole Opry Christmas.” In the movie, he performs “Falling Like the Snow” on the Opry stage. He also wrote the song “Leave the Christmas Lights on For Me,” which is sung by the movie’s fictitious duo Winters & Wade, played by Rob Mayes and Luke Benward.

Paisley’s new version of “Santa Claus is Coming to Town” can also be heard in “Christmas at the Catnip Café” starring Erin Cahill and Paul Campbell. All three of those tunes are included on his new Christmas album — his first since 2006 — “Snow Globe Town,” per Hallmark.

The 2025 Countdown to Christmas soundtrack won’t be all country, though. Many artists from other genres are providing music for the network’s new movies and shows.

“Single on the 25th” starring Lyndsy Fonseca and Daniel Lissing was inspired by pop star and “American Idol” alum Lauren Spencer Smith‘s hit single of the same name. She’ll appear in a musical cameo when the movie premieres on December 7.

Late-night host Jimmy Fallon, who’s a huge Hallmark fan, will have a song from his 2024 Christmas album — “Holiday” featuring The Jonas Brothers — featured in “Holiday Touchdown: A Bills Love Story” starring Holland Roden and Matthew Daddio. That movie will also feature a Frank Sinatra classic, “I’ve Got My Love to Keep Me Warm.”

Another classic crooner, Dean Martin, will be heard singing “It’s Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas” in Wes Brown and Ginna Claire Mason’s time-travel movie “A Newport Christmas.”

Meanwhile, one Hallmark duo who will sing in their movie is Brooke D’Orsay and Jake Epstein, who will sing “Glow” by MOONZz in “Oy! To The World.” D’Orsay said during the Countdown to Christmas launch event that it’s her first time singing in a movie.
