Scott Wolf Granted Emergency Hearing as Estranged Wife Kelley Wolf Abruptly Exits Rehab: Report

The increasingly heartbreaking saga of actor Scott Wolf and life coach Kelley Wolf’s divorce has grown even more complicated. On September 9, 2025, Us Weekly reported that Scott, a Hallmark fan favorite who first rose to fame on the 90s drama “Party of Five,” was granted an emergency hearing regarding Kelley’s disregard for recent court orders.

That news broke around the same time as People reported that Kelley, 48, has left the rehab facility she’d checked into days before and is now staying at a hotel.

Since announcing their divorce on June 10, Kelley has been placed under two involuntary holds but struggled to follow court orders upon release, ignoring a social media gag order and boundaries set around communication with and about Scott, 57, and their kids.

The “Real World: New Orleans” alum was arrested on August 26 and currently faces three domestic violence charges for “doxxing and electronically harassing her estranged husband,” per People.

Scott Wolf Requested Emergency Hearing, Claiming Ex Kelley Wolf Has Not Followed Court Orders Since Arrest

According to Us Weekly, Scott has been granted an emergency hearing, scheduled for September 10, to determine if Kelley has disobeyed the judge’s most recent orders and is in contempt of the court.

On September 1, People reported that in addition to a court order for Kelley to “participate in inpatient or outpatient medical, behavior, psychological, or psychiatric treatment,” a new protective order was issued requiring that Kelley not have any direct or indirect contact with Scott or their three children — ages 16, 12, and 11 — nor visit their family home. Scott was granted sole physical custody of the children in June, which the courts have upheld.

An emergency hearing has been called, per Us Weekly, because Scott claims that Kelley continued “discussing the marriage and divorce, continued to disparage him in front of their kids, and improperly tried to access their home.”

Court documents obtained by Us Weekly note that Kelley will have to explain why she shouldn’t be found in contempt, which could result in a $1,000 fine and up to 30 days in jail.

Kelley’s decision to leave treatment is also in question. During her arraignment on September 2, she announced that she was scheduled to enter a rehabilitation treatment center on September 12, according to People.

“I have informed everyone that needs to know, I will be attending a (treatment center) starting on September 12,” she told the judge, People reported.

“I am excited to go to (the treatment center),” she continued. “I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so September 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”

People reported on September 7 that Kelley had already checked into a facility, sooner than originally planned. But by September 9, People confirmed with sources that she had since left.

Kelley Wolf Had to Be Escorted Out of Airbnb Found in ‘Disarray,’ Per New Report

Meanwhile, TMZ reported on September 8 that before Kelley checked into treatment, police had to escort her out of the Airbnb home where she’d been staying.

A police report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office obtained by TMZ says police received a “keep the peace” call on Labor Day about a residence in the town of Peoa. The owner called to request that police help “remove a female tenant who they claimed had overstayed her time at the Airbnb.”

When police arrived, TMZ reported, they “found the residence in disarray” and noted that the female, identified to TMZ as Kelley, was “moving large amounts of alcohol, food, decorations, and personal items into the home.”

Although she cooperated with law enforcement, TMZ noted that the police report said she “struggled to follow directions and staying focused on the task of moving her items out of the home.”

The latest developments come three months after Kelley first announced, on June 10, that she and Scott were divorcing after 21 years of marriage. Three days later, Kelley was detained by police and placed under an involuntary hold in Utah, where she and Scott have lived for years, raising their three kids in the Park City area. She has since stayed at a variety of rental homes and hotels, as documented on her social media.
