Kelley Wolf, the estranged wife of Hallmark fan favorite and “Party of Five” alum Scott Wolf, appeared before a district court judge in Utah on September 2, 2025, and promised to enter a rehabilitation treatment center, according to People.
That’s likely good news for those who’ve been concerned for Kelley in recent months. The former MTV reality star and life coach announced her split from Scott on June 10, days before being placed under the first of two involuntary holds. Kelley struggled to follow court orders upon release, including a gag order meant to keep her and Scott from discussing their divorce publicly.
Kelley posted about the situation frequently on social media leading up to August 26, when People reported that the former “Real World: New Orleans” star had been arrested after posting Scott’s phone number on social media. The outlet said that during her September 2 arraignment, Kelley told the judge, “I have informed everyone that needs to know, I will be attending a (treatment center) starting on September 12.”
Kelley Wolf Says Her Brother Will Take Her to Treatment Center
With her bail set at $5,000, Kelley was released from jail on August 28, two days after her arrest, People reported. According to documents from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office obtained by the outlet, the judge required Kelley to “participate in inpatient or outpatient medical, behavior, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.”
The judge also ordered that, upon release, Kelley could not “consume any alcohol or narcotic drug or other controlled substance unless prescribed by a licensed medical practitioner” and also prohibited her from posting on social media for a week; according to People, that rule expires on September 2 at midnight.
During her arraignment, per People, Kelley told the judge of attending treatment, “This is what was asked of me by both Bart Johnson and Scott Wolf now for six months — all I wanted to do was leave a marriage.”
Kelley continued, “I am excited to go to (the treatment center). I’m looking forward to it. My brother is taking me. It’s fantastic. It’s a great place. I recommended it all the time as a mental health professional myself, so September 12, I will be there for a month. I hope that helps.”
Kelley Wolf Faces 3 Charges Categorized as ‘Domestic-Violence Related’
GettyKelley still faces three misdemeanor charges, People reported on September 2: one charge of misdemeanor electronic communications harassment stemming from an incident on August 25, and two charges of misdemeanor electronic disclosure of personal identifying information related to events that occurred on August 26.
The outlet reported that the presiding judge categorized all three charges as being “domestic violence-related.”
The day before Kelley’s arraignment, on September 1, People reported that Judge Richard Mrazik issued a new protective order, prohibiting Kelley from having any direct or indirect contact with Scott or their three children — Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11.
The court documents, per People, also stated that Kelley could not “commit, try to commit or threaten to commit any form of violence” against Scott or their children, including “stalking, harassing, threatening, physically hurting, or causing any other form of abuse that could cause bodily injury.”
In addition, People reported, Kelley can “only” have contact with Scott, to whom she’s been married for 21 years, during scheduled mediation sessions with a “Court Qualified Mediator” related to their divorce or custody. Otherwise, the court order said, she must stay at least 300 feet away from him and their kids.
