Hallmark alum Kimberly Williams-Paisley certainly knows how to make an appearance at an entertainment industry event. Having been in the business for years, she’s walked the red carpet and posed for the cameras on countless occasions. And yesterday, as the stars popped up at the 2026 Met Gala, Williams-Paisley gave fans a glimpse at her look for the night … even though she wasn’t exactly invited to the party.
Kimberly Made a Splash with Her 2026 Met Gala Look
Taking to Instagram on Monday, May 4, Williams-Paisley popped up a post that included a caption, saying, “I have my #metgala outfit but they seem to have misplaced my invite.”
Proving that she was just being silly, the star posted a video showing her standing in what appears to be her kitchen at home. While wearing a sharp blue jacket with large buttons adorning the piece, her hair has been left down and her nails are perfectly done.
Of course, what tops off the look is the unicorn floatie she has around her waist. At times playing with its ears, and at other times seemingly strangling the mystical-animal life-preserver, she also (almost) gives it a lick at one point.
As one might expect, the entire video is set to Madonna’s “Vogue.”
The post prompted plenty of comments from Williams-Paisley’s followers, with fellow actress Jackie Geary writing, “Niche I like it.”
“You really are the star you think you are. 😎🌟,” another follower added.
A third person wrote, “Add a few feathers and you’re beautiful DAHLING!! 💕🌸🦄”
“This is why I adore you so much 😭,” came from another social media user.
Someone else left a comment, saying, “You all by yourself are the Gala! 🔥❤️”
Even the “9-1-1: Nashville” account popped in a message, telling the actress (who appears on the show), “personally think this look would be 🔥”
Kimberly Always Slays on the Red Carpet

Wearing a golden dress with short sleeves, a skirt that reached to just above her ankles, a collar and floral details on the front, not to mention the belt that cinched her waist, she opted to keep her hair down and pulled back on one side to finish off her look.
