Lacey Chabert Admits She ‘Cried at Every Episode’ of Her Hallmark Show

Season 2 of Hallmark’s “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” debuts on September 15, and Chabert teased a bit about what fans can expect ahead of its premiere date. While there are a lot of heartwarming and fun moments ahead, Chabert also told Soaps.com that she “cried at every single episode.”

Guest Stars & Fun Surprises Are Coming With Season 2

As Hallmark shares, Chabert’s show “surprises deserving kids, families and adults making extraordinary impacts in their communities with incredible celebrations.” Chabert told Soaps.com that viewers could expect plenty of “poignant moments” along with “fun surprises.”

Of course, Chabert couldn’t reveal everything that fans will see in season 2. However, she did reveal that musician Jason Mraz will pop up in one episode, and fellow Hallmark alum Kimberly J. Brown shows up in another. Brown and Chabert co-star together in Hallmark’s “Haul Out the Halloween,” which premieres on October 11.

Season 2 will be similar to the first season of “Celebrations” in a lot of ways. However, Chabert noted, there are some changes that were made. “In season two, we get to hear our heroes narrate their own stories and tell us a bit more about their lives and how their organizations came to be,” Chabert explained.

She believes that shift is “really impactful and powerful.” The upcoming episodes will also incorporate follow-up visits to the show’s newest heroes.

Lacey Chabert Feels Honored to Share People’s Stories

Chabert told Just Jared that season 2 of “Celebrations” includes a vow renewal in one episode, and big family surprises for some of their featured heroes.

“There’s just a lot of funny stuff. There’s a lot of unexpected things. There’s a lot of happy accidents,” Chabert promised.

She shared, “I remember when I was doing the show a couple of weeks into it, I looked over to our showrunner and our producers…and I said thank you for this opportunity that I feel like I actually [am] right where I’m meant to be. And that is such a fulfilling thing. It’s really an honor to get to shine a spotlight on such deserving souls.”

Chabert admits that sometimes her role with “Celebrations” is a bit intimidating and pushes her to be vulnerable. “It can be a little scary at times,” she admitted.

“Sometimes I end up sharing things that I didn’t plan to or expect to,” she explained. Chabert is typically a very private person, she acknowledged, but “it’s been really rewarding for me to open up that part of myself to our audience.”

Season 2 of “Celebrations With Lacey Chabert” airs on the Hallmark Channel, with the show available to stream on Hallmark+ the next day. Two episodes air each Monday from September 15 to October 6.
