Lori Loughlin is reminding fans to look on the brightside.

A week after making her long-awaited return to Instagram, the actress is sharing a message about embracing the possibility that, sometimes, things really do work out.

The actress, known for iconic roles, such as Jennifer Shannon in Hallmark‘s “Garage Sale Mystery” movie series, Abigail Stanton in “When Calls the Heart,” Aunt Becky in “Full House,” as well as her work with Great American Family, officially returned to Instagram after seven years away from the social media platform.

Of course, she marked the occasion with a little help from her “Full House” family. John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Scott Weinger, Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber, all reunited to recreate the sitcom’s famous wake-up call, announcing Loughlin’s return to fans, with archival footage of the late actor Bob Saget rounding out the reunion.

“Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG 💕,” Loughlin wrote in the caption of her Aug. 31 Instagram Reel.

Now, Loughlin is giving fans another glimpse into her life with a new Reel shared on Sept. 7. The uplifting video features some of her recent happy memories, including blowing out the candles on a cake, presumably for her July 28 birthday, a trip to Paris, dancing with her “Full House” co-stars, and more.

Loughlin Reminds Fans That Things Will Work Out

“Here’s to things working out 🤍,” Loughlin wrote in the caption of her Sept. 7 Instagram Reel. Over the clips Loughlin included is an audio that says:

“Well, what if it does work out? Right, I know I’m scared that it’s not going to. But what if it does? Because here’s the thing: Do you actually know if things are gonna work out? No. Great. So if you’re going to actually presume the negative, then you actually owe it to yourself to also presume the positive.”

Bure commented, “Love you!! 💖” to which Loughlin replied, “love you Candy cane 💕.”

A fan commented, “Lol, you sound like my therapist. I went through some major trauma and now catastrophe think. 🙆,” and Loughlin responded with encouragement, writing, “stay positive!! You can do it.”

Several other fans also flooded the comments with love and support for Loughlin, welcoming the actress back with open arms:

“In support of you- no judgment. We all have our struggles but glad you are still connected with old friends. No one should throw stones. I’ll follow in whatever you do next.”

“This Heartie has been waiting for this positive encouraging re-entry! Every interaction I’ve previously had with you, you were always so kind. ❤️.”

“We love you, Lori! The happiest Hallmark moment was seeing you walking out on that KC stage last December!! 😘❤️🙌.”

The viral audio in Loughlin’s video, used by many creators to encourage optimism in their videos, originates from motivational speaker and podcast host Mel Robbins when she appeared on an episode of the Therapuss with Jake Shane podcast, discussing how to start thinking positively. Loughlin Will Be Making Her Return to Hope Valley in Season 14 of ‘WCTH’

Abigail Stanton was one of the original characters on “When Calls the Heart” when the series debuted in 2014, with Loughlin starring as the beloved Hope Valley resident through Season 6.

After years of being away from the series, it was announced on Dec. 2, 2025 that Loughlin would be reprising her role in the upcoming 14th season. Hearties got an even earlier surprise when Loughlin made an unannounced cameo in the Season 13 finale, which aired on March 22.

Loughlin reunited with her co-stars at the “When Calls the Heart” and “Hope Valley: 1874” celebration event on March 18.

Months earlier, she also surprised fans by appearing at the Hallmark Christmas Experience on Dec. 12, 2025. During the emotional appearance, Loughlin thanked the network for welcoming her back and spoke about how special it was to reunite with her castmates.

“I just want to thank everyone at Hallmark for being so loving and so welcoming… And this just feels incredible. And I think — I mean, you guys all know it — we have such a special cast and such a special bond, and it’s just so nice to be back with my family,” Loughlin said, per TV Insider.
