Hallmark fans are excited to watch the premiere of “Haul Out the Halloween,” which airs on October 11. The film stars Lacey Chabert, Wes Brown, Melissa Peterman, Stephen Tobolowsky, Kimberly J. Brown, and Ellen Travolta. It’s a follow-up to Hallmark’s “Haul Out the Holly” and “Haul Out the Holly: Lit Up.”
Ahead of the premiere, Peterman shared some fun social media posts that have fans cracking up.
Melissa Peterman’s Character Wears a Clown Halloween Costume & She Seems to Love It
On October 9, Peterman gave fans a chuckle with some new Instagram posts. In the first one, she included a Boomerang-style video showing her in a clown costume, waving from the front step of her home in the movie.
She wrote, “Goodnight! See you Friday on Everscream Lane! Haul Out the Halloween premieres October 11 on @hallmarkchannel.”
Fans flooded the comment section of her post with responses, many of which were heart or applause emojis.
One comment read, “You always steal the show! Super excited to see this movie!!”
Another shared, “So excited and so proud of you! You’re a Hallmark star!”
Someone else gushed, “I cannot even tell you how excited I am for this movie!!!”
Additional posts that Peterman made were shared on Facebook by Hallmark as well as on Hallmark’s Instagram page. The videos again featured Peterman in her clown costume.
In one, Peterman held a mic in her hand and raced over to catch up with a younger co-star named Charlotte Witt, who plays Peterman’s daughter in the movie series. The young girl noted they’ve been working together for four years now, and Peterman asked what Witt has learned from her as an actress.
Witt replied, “Um, stuff.”
Peterman shared that one important thing she’s taught Witt is to always hit the craft services table first. “That’s where the best snacks are,” she said.
Another video showed Peterman cornering Chabert. Peterman noted this movie was Hallmark’s first foray into the Halloween genre, and she asked Chabert how she felt about it. “Like a trailblazer,” was Chabert’s response.
Chabert also revealed that the Halloween movie of the “Haul Out” Hallmark series is her favorite of the three.
Peterman then got Chabert giggling when she asked, “Is it true that when you put on this costume, it actually burned because you are so sweet that you can’t actually wear a witch costume?”
One Hallmark fan commented, “You two together bring me laughter.”
Several Hallmark fans shared their excitement for the film and specifically noted they were excited to see the network do something with a Halloween theme.
Hallmark Star Wes Brown Was Too Slow for Peterman’s Taste
Peterman also managed to get a moment with Brown on camera for a separate post. Her time with him was short because of how long it took him to name his favorite Halloween costume from when he was a child. Even though he paused for only a second or two, Peterman said, “That took too long. Bye,” and she went running off.
In the comment section, Peterman gushed, “Can’t wait for you all to see this movie!! We hope you love it as much as we loved making it!!”
A Facebook user commented, “Looking so forward to this movie! Looks like so much fun! So glad the very funny characters from the other Haul Out movies will be in this one, plus Kimberly J. Brown and Daniel Kountz from Halloween Town! Can’t wait!”
Another fan added, “This is going to be so much fun.”
