Sarah Ramos is pregnant!
The “Christmas in Notting Hill” actress shared her pregnancy news on Instagram with bumpin’ photos from her baby shower.
Ramos was joined by her loved ones as they celebrated her family’s new addition.
Although she joked in her Instagram caption about not knowing who the baby’s father is, the “Chicago Med” star is happily married to husband Matt Spicer. One adorable photo from her baby shower featured a sprinkle cake with the words “BABY SPICE.”
“Surprise! If you’re not surprised I’m pregnant, act like it! I have no good photos with the father of my child lol just a ton with the shower guests of honor: @thelabellefoundation puppies available for adoption! ✨✨✨,” Ramos captioned her photo carousel from Monday, May 4.
Sarah Ramos & Husband Matt Spicer Expecting 1st Child
Celebrities and fans poured into the actress’ comments to support her as she prepares for motherhood.
Actresses Elle Fanning and Busy Philipps celebrated Ramos by congratulating her for the joyful news.
“This is VERY exciting,” added a fan.
“Congrats! Wonderful news. And yes, I am 100% surprised,” added another.
Ramos’ pregnancy marks her and Spicer’s first child together after tying the knot in 2020. The couple married each other in Las Vegas alongside an Elvis impersonator who walked Ramos down the aisle.
The “Parenthood” actress shared an Instagram post at the time with photos from their wedding. “Love is a wild thing 💖 👰 October 25, 2020 💒 📷 @elopeinlasvegas ,” Ramos captioned her series of phoros at the time.
When Ramos announced she married Spicer, a film director and writer, fans and loved ones were shocked — and equally as happy — to know they quietly said “yes” to forever.
“OH MY GOD I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT THESE WOW OH WOW,” commented a fan.
“THIS IS THE BEST. You guys are so cool. Congrats friends ❤️❤️,” added another.
Matt Spicer Interviews Wife Sarah Ramos About Her Biggest Obsession
In a cheeky interview conducted and written by her husband on his Substack in April 2025, Spicer poked fun at Ramos for her extensive — and obsessive — collection of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movies.
The actress playfully responded, “Of course. So there used to be three types of movies: theatrical movies, made-for-TV movies — like Hallmark and Lifetime or The Disney Channel — and straight-to-VHS movies, such as Our Lips are Sealed or Passport to Paris. Did anyone else do straight-to-VHS other than [Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen]?”
Ramos went on to explain just how much the Olsen twins inspired her in her younger years, leading her to become deeply passionate about film and its inner workings and ultimately shaping her into the entertainment industry star that she is today.
“And there was another series called The Adventures of Mary-Kate & Ashley where they played twin detectives and their motto was ‘We’ll solve any crime by dinnertime,” she elaborated. “Caroline [Goldfarb] and I actually used the artwork for that show as our inspiration when we were promoting The Renner Files [their ‘true crime’ podcast about Jeremy Renner’s failed social media app].”
Ramos has not yet confirmed when her and Spicer’s due date is.
