Egypt Sherrod is moving on in a big way after HGTV canceled “Married to Real Estate.” Sherrod is taking things to the next level with her career while also teasing a return to TV for fans who have missed her and husband Mike Jackson.
Egypt Sherrod Shares Next Big Career Move
On January 24, Sherrod took to Instagram to share some big news.
“You can underestimate us … we actually prefer it that way,” she wrote in the caption. “Just don’t underestimate what GOD can do for those who are faithful and do the work!”
Among the photos, Sherrod included a video of her speaking at an Indigo Road Realty event.
“So, two years, we’ve made an imprint here in Atlanta, we’ve definitely built a family,” she shared.
Sherrod added, “We are expanding to Dallas, Texas, Houston, Texas, and Orlando, Florida.”
In November, Modern Luxury Magazine awarded Sherrod the 2025 realtor of the year and her real estate company received a home design achievement.
She shared on Instagram at the time: “Still on cloud nine! Last week, I was incredibly honored to be named Realtor of the Year by Modern Luxury Magazine, and on the very same night, Indigo Road Design took home the Design 9 Award for Best Living Room 🏆🏆.”
Sherrod Teases a Return to TV: ‘Almost There’
Sherrod and Jackson’s fans continue to express how much they miss seeing the couple on TV after the HGTV cancellation.
Sherrod’s responses to comments on Instagram hint that the couple will be back in some capacity on television, however.
On January 17, Sherrod took to Instagram to share her makeup artist’s beautiful work.
“There is something about a good make up beat that makes you feel super confident like you can conquer the world. 💋💋” she wrote in the caption. “There is also something about a good hubby that’s not afraid to pick up a vacuum cleaner 🤣.”
Among the many comments from her adoring fans were those who shared that they miss her on HGTV.
“It should be ILLEGAL to be that GORGEOUS 🔥🔥🔥,” one fan commented. “The whole family is just pretty. Miss u guys on HGTV.”
Another fan noted, “Miss seeing y’all on TV bad! But you look absolutely gorgeous.”
Sherrod responded, “Thank you and we’ll be back soon.”
When another fan noted, “I can’t wait to see a new show on television,” Sherrod responded, “Almost there🔥.”
i am glad she and mike or coming back but not for makeup stick with what you know , go on magnolia, channel, you 2 or so great at what you do and God has blessed you all for being committed to this chapter in your lives
