Fans were thrilled to see the return of HGTV‘s “Rehab Addict,” with a new season kicking off in June 2025, but only two episodes aired. The show’s star, Nicole Curtis, explained why the show suddenly dropped from the schedule and promised its return to HGTV in the fall. Check out her latest update about the “Rehab Addict” delay.
When Will New Episodes of ‘Rehab Addict’ Air? Nicole Curtis Gives Latest Update
On October 23, Curtis took to Instagram to give fans an update on “Rehab Addict,” after previously sharing that the new season’s remaining episodes would air in the fall.
“I hear you — IT’S FALL!!!! and I promised you the episodes in Fall,” she wrote in the caption. “It’s still Fall. I had a really great network call today and I was asked the same question — where’s the shows?”
Curtis continued, “I recut them. So, I’m in post getting them put back in the hopper that puts them on air. This is unheard of, typically, because production is production and talent is talent and no one would spend money when they don’t have to. However, I’m the talent and I am the production and I rewatched these and thought — I have a different idea now.”
“So, I took some rug money (not drug money, my actual rug money) and I reshot a ‘few’ things,” she noted.
The HGTV star promised that the episodes are coming soon. “I’m in the process of delivering the new ones and I’ve been here a long time — no one puts ‘Rehab Addict’ on the Bingo Card til you, actually, get word from me that it’s a winnable bet to schedule, aka wait for me to hand deliver the episodes as I want them ❤️,” she added.
HGTV Star Explained ‘What Is Going On’ With ‘Rehab Addict’
Two episodes of the new season of “Rehab Addict” aired: episode 1, “Nicole Goes West,” aired on June 24, and episode 2, “Attic Antics,” aired on July 1.
The remaining two episodes, were not on the TV schedule, however.
On July 8, Curtis took to Instagram to assure fans that the remaining two episodes of “Rehab Addict” would air in the fall.
“First, THANK YOU for making ‘Rehab Addict’ a number one rated show, again. You came out and shocked the heck out of all of us with the numbers ❤️❤️ if you missed the first two, watch them now streaming or don’t worry, I’m bringing those back along with the other new ones,” Curtis wrote in the caption.
She continued, “Second, here’s what is going on … I made the executive decision to shelf the rest of our new shows until Fall. I appreciate your support and understanding for the late notice. It’s just a lot of hours (my hours) to get a show on air and we (my family +me) thought — why are we giving up Summer when we have the ability to do this in the Fall?”
The HGTV star noted, “Thank you to the powers [that] be at HGTV that were receptive to our idea.”
“Third, without a doubt, I, truly, am beyond happy with this decision as I just spent the day with a phone that was dead and had no worries about it 😀,” she shared.
