Britney Spears wants a face-to-face meetup with the daughter of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson. Spears took to her Instagram to say her birthday wish is to have “coffee, lunch, or dinner” with Jackson’s 27-year-old daughter, Paris.
Also in the note, which Spears shared on October 16, 2025, the icon said she’d also like to spend time with Michelle Pfeiffer. She said she’d prefer to spend time with one of the two ladies over flying anywhere, and added, “It is important to look up to people and still believe in humanity, and there are extremely cool and beautiful people here.”
Read on to see how Paris responded to Britney’s invitation.
Paris Jackson Replies to Britney Spears’ Coffee Invitation
Paris took to her Instagram Stories to enthusiastically reply to Spears’ request. The “Notes on a Ghost” singer wrote along with a smiling selfie, “Ok my sag queen, @britneyspears, let’s do it,” referencing the fact that Spears, born December 2, is a Sagittarius.
GettyParis previously spoke out in support of Spears’ battle to break free from the strict conservatorship that granted her father decision-making power over her life from 2008 to 2021.
Speaking to Access Hollywood on June 28, 2021, five months before the conservatorship was officially terminated, Paris said, “I am proud of any strong woman who is willing to speak her truth and do what is right for her health.”
Britney Spears Performed Iconic Duet With Michael Jackson in 2001
Back in 2001, Spears teamed up with Jackson to deliver an unforgettable performance at Madison Square Garden.
In the early 2000s, Spears spoke about Jackson at a press conference where she called him “a genius.” The “Everytime” singer went on, “He’s not only an incredible song writer. He’s an incredible performer, everything. And I just really respect his music. He’s amazing.”
In another interview, Spears praised Jackson’s song, “Billie Jean.” She recalled, “I remember playing that song over and over again in my room. I would look at myself in the mirror, and just pretend I was the girl. Oh my god, I loved that song.”
In the infamous November 2003 Diane Sawyer interview where the controversial journalist grilled a 22-year-old Spears to the point of tears, the “Toxic” hitmaker at one point mentioned her onstage appearance with Jackson at the 2002 VMA awards. “I got to go out with Michael Jackson. That was cool,” she said.
When Sawyer pressed, “He’s still an idol of yours?” Spears replied, “Yes! I think he’s a great person at heart. I think he needs me to call him, maybe. He probably needs some friends around him.”
