Charli XCX, whose given name is Charlotte Emma Aitchison, has shared gorgeous photos from her vacation with loved ones. In several snaps, which she posted on Instagram on Sunday, August 23, she can be seen posing in a bikini, embracing her body with confidence in various poses.
In the caption, she wrote, “a girl on a lake with her friends and her husbands.” Unsurprisingly, her fans had a lot to say about the photos!

The “Brat” singer’s comment section was flooded with reactions, including heart and fire emojis. “enjoy your vacation, sugar,” a comment reads. “I hope you enjoyed your holiday,” another person wrote. Other reactions include, “she’s living her carefree life,” “What more could a girl want,” and “beautiful.”
Charli XCX has been an inspiration for many because of her unapolegetic attitude and confidence. In an interview with Radio 1 Newsbeat in 2019, she discussed body image and self-love. “No matter what walk of life you’re in” it’s important to “be yourself and stay true to who you are,” she said, BBC reports.
She continued, “It’s very hard in this day and age with social media. People constantly judging your every move, no matter who you are. But I think it’s really important to remember that world is not real, that’s a world that exists on your phone. Your internal happiness is always the most important thing. So to just be able to have the kind of mental power and capacity to be able to seize your individuality and do what you want to do, I think is really important.”

GettyCharli XCX is married to The 1975 drummer George Daniel. The pair got together in 2021 and engaged in November 2023. They married for a second time in September 2025 after having their first celebration in a private ceremony in the Hackney Town Hall in London, England on July 19.
“Charli and George wanted the ceremony to feel special and personal, but not over-the-top. They have been planning this for months and were so excited to finally say ‘I do’ even if it was low-key, they danced all night. They have such playful energy as a couple. It was the most fun celebration,” an insider told People of their first wedding.
Of their second wedding, it was a much bigger celebration. “The party’s just getting started,” a source revealed. “They’ve always dreamed of a big party in Italy. Somewhere beautiful and private, where all their friends can let loose. It will be star-studded. This was always the plan.”
In a July 30 episode of Apple Music’s “Zane Lowe Show,” Charli XCX praised Daniel. She said, “‘I’m Afraid’ is a very real song and it’s about George and I’s relationship. But more specifically my relationship with commitment, I suppose, and why I have a history with that.” She also explained how he was “sort of the first person who really understood me so intricately. Like, my pros and my cons, let’s say.”
