Toyia Jackson’s Cancer Battle
At this time of writing, there have been no additional details about how Toyia died; however, she was transparent on her Instagram page about her battle with cancer. Toyia, a producer, writer, director, beloved mom and devoted wife, posted a photo from inside a hospital as she received treatment in March 2024. In the caption of her image, she expressed her hope as she remained positive.
“I’ve been blessed with the gift of optimism since I was born. I’m a big advocate of not letting circumstances obstruct my positive thinking,” Toyia wrote. “What ever you are facing where ever you are I pray you clear your path and allow the God in you stand up. If you don’t believe in God I still pray the best in you stands up and leads you to the answers. But I’m certain where my faith is planted, it brings me peace in the chaos. And there’s certain things winners just don’t do. 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 it’s still winning season.”
In a separate Instagram post from November 2023, Toyia opened up about her willingness to help others experiencing the same battle. “I’m stepping out covered in prayer and realizing cancer is serious it’s also a business. So be careful what you believe and accept to be true and it’s a sign your body is trying to tell you a multitude of things,” she wrote.
Toyia often shared cherishable family memories on her social media, boasting about the love she had for her husband and four children. She was a pillar in her community and loved by many. May Toyia rest in peace.

God Bless You. You got your Wings. Condolences to the Family.
