Australian actress Samara Weaving has been revealed as the special guest star in English model Cara Delevingne’s raunchy new music video.
Gorgeous scream queen Weaving 34 and beautiful “Suicide Squad” star Delevingne, also 34, are great friends in real life. The collaboration between the superstar pairing is, therefore, far from unexpected.
Delevingne has been promoting and teasing her new single, “Crazy, Baby,” for weeks with a series of cheeky clips from the video. It’s an incredibly catchy pop track with a prominent guitar as its foundation sound.
“Crazy, Baby” is out now and with its release comes the news that “Ready or Not” and “Scream VI” star Weaving — who has also just been announced as Marvel Studios’ new Emma Frost — stars alongside Delevingne in said video. Needless to say, the two stars are setting pulses racing with their actions in it.
Cara Delevingne Teased a Blond Co-Star Before the Release of ‘Crazy, Baby’
A few hours before the release of “Crazy, Baby,” Cara Delevingne teased the fact that a blonde actress would be co-starring with her in the song’s music video.
She published a post on her Instagram account, sharing it with her 38.2 million followers.
The post included a carousel of six screengrabs from the video. Two of the images featured a mystery blonde getting close to Delevingne.
Delevingne’s caption on the post read, “Tonight!!!! Crazy, Baby out at midnight ET. This song was written from a place of true love so it means the world to me that the world will finally get to hear it.”
Samara Weaving herself commented on the video, leaving a bunch of fire emojis, writing, “🔥🔥🔥🔥.”
One keen-eyed Instagram user replied to her, saying, “@samweaving I know it’s you in the video, I recognized you right away 🤣😍❤️.”
Other fans of Delevingne were just excited for the track to be released, as one of them said, “Counting down the minutes, can’t wait to hear it ❤️❤️❤️.”
When the track was officially released, however, fans went absolutely wild.
Delevingne Says She’s ‘The Luckiest Lady in the World’ as Single Releases
Today, on August 21, the day “Crazy, Baby” releases, Cara Delevingne posted a 25-second clip from the single’s music video. In it, she wears a number of racy outfits and, notably, gets very cosy with Samara Weaving.
The gorgeous duo tease a kiss, before playing piano together, at which point Weaving kisses Delevingne on her neck.
Delevingne’s caption on this one says, “Crazy, Baby is out now ❤️🔥 the fact that I have the wonderfully talented and gorgeous @samweaving in my video is a real pinch me moment. I am the luckiest lady in the world I get to work with my friends. Let me know what you think eeeeek.”
The English model tagged Weaving in the post, allowing fans and followers of both stars to excitedly rush to the comments section to have their say on it.
Again, Weaving herself commented, this time writing, “Let’s get CRAZAYYYY 😍😍😍.”
Another Instagram user said, “Omg 😍🔥this is so beautiful.”
