Singer Pink Hospitalized

Pop superstar Pink rang in 2026 from a hospital room, sharing a candid update with fans as she undergoes neck surgery — a procedure she’s facing with trademark humor and heart.

The Grammy-winning artist, who is beloved for her powerhouse vocals and high-energy performances, offered an uplifting message from her hospital bed while reflecting on a challenging year filled with both hardship and gratitude.

Pink Updates Fans

Pink, 46, posted a selfie on social media on Wednesday, Dec. 31 showing herself in a hospital gown and neck bandage as she prepared for the procedure.

In her message, she explained that the surgery — which she described as getting “two new shiny discs” — isn’t cosmetic but rather a necessary step toward caring for her body after years of physically demanding performance.

“Rock ‘n’ roll is a contact sport,” she joked, acknowledging the wear and tear her high-impact shows can take.

Though her husband, Carey Hart, and children Willow, 14, and Jameson, 8, were away snowboarding on New Year’s Eve, Pink used the moment to share a reflective and heartfelt message with her followers.

She called 2025 “a doozy,” describing it as a year that ranged from “absolutely devastating to mildly annoying,” but also one filled with beauty, love and growth.

She expressed deep appreciation for being able to spend her days loving her children, helping them chase their dreams, and embracing “life’s beautiful messiness” — from laughter and dance to tears and apologies.

“And I got to wake up every day and get out of bed and go about my business. The business of loving my children and helping them to follow their dreams. Showing them that life is an adventure or nothing at all. Loving and laughing, cooking and dancing, crying and screaming, forgiving and apologizing, and all the rest of our beautiful messiness. So much beauty in amongst it all,” she wrote. “So many more good people in the world than bad. I said goodbye to incredibly important people, and I said hello to new ones. I’ve realized dreams this year, as well as nightmares.”

Despite the physical and emotional challenges of the past year — including earlier health issues — Pink made a point to choose a positive outlook as she heads into 2026.

Friends & Fans React

She told fans she’s leaving behind the hurt and focusing on joy, self-care and optimism. “I choose joy and I leave behind the hurt,” she wrote, encouraging followers to seek light even in dark moments and to value their bodies, people and passions.

Support and well-wishes poured in from fans and fellow artists alike after Pink’s update.

Celebrities including Rosie O’Donnell and Wanda Sykes commented with encouragement, while admirers around the world shared messages celebrating her resilience and candid positivity.

Many noted that her openness about health and well-being is part of what makes her such a relatable and inspiring figure in music.

Pink’s career has long been defined by her bold performances and physicality: elaborate aerial stunts, dynamic choreography and emotion-driven vocals.

It’s perhaps no surprise that she views her body — and now her recovery — as central to her identity as an artist. In her post, she thanked her body for carrying her “for all it’s worth” and gave fans a renewed sense of her fighting spirit as she begins her healing journey.
