Netflix’s “Love Is Blind” fan favorites Lauren and Cameron Hamilton are officially parents. The season 1 alums, who tied the knot on the hit Netflix dating show, welcomed their first child — a baby boy named Ezra — on Oct. 1 at 8:18 p.m., they confirmed exclusively to People.
Lauren, 37, shared that their journey to parenthood made the moment even more meaningful. “He’s been such a blessing already,” she told the outlet. “Having [him] has made the long journey worth it.” Cameron, 35, added that it “still feels surreal” after four years of trying to conceive, saying, “The 4 a.m. feedings and diaper changes have definitely made it feel more real. I’m grateful for it all.”
The couple announced their son’s arrival on Instagram, sharing a carousel of family photos. “To God be the GLORY! Our son, Ezra William Hamilton, made his debut October 1st, a little earlier than planned, but perfectly on God’s time,” they captioned the post. “After an unexpected turn with preeclampsia and a few days in the hospital, we’ve been taking it slow… healing, resting, and soaking up all the love.”
The couple said the name “Ezra” came to them naturally. “Once I suggested it, we both agreed that was going to be his name. It felt right,” Cameron explained. Lauren added that it took on a deeper meaning after her father’s passing. “We found a Bible that had been his mother’s, and when we opened it, it fell open to the book of Ezra and a picture of Dad fell out. That was a sign,” she shared.
Lauren described holding her son for the first time as “magical.” “Once he was on my chest, I didn’t want him to move again,” she said, laughing that “he looks just like Cam.”
A Journey Years in the Making
The Hamiltons’ new addition comes after a long fertility journey. The couple, who met and married on Love Is Blind in 2018, revealed earlier this year that they conceived through IVF after four years of trying. “We were counting down the day till we could test,” Cameron told People. “We flipped it over, saw the word pregnant, and that was just a huge moment.”
Lauren said the pregnancy news came at a deeply emotional time. “I lost my father at Christmas of last year,” she shared. “We took this test at the end of January, and it was literally light in the darkness — the spark my whole family needed.”
Throughout their IVF process, Lauren praised Cameron’s support and patience. “He’s just been so great, so patient and just awesome. I’m so blessed to have a partner like him,” she said.
A Love Story That Truly Proved ‘Love Is Blind’

Lauren and Cameron’s connection began in 2018 during season 1 of Love Is Blind, where they got engaged before meeting face-to-face. “I love you so much, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,” Cameron said during his pod proposal, which she accepted immediately.
The pair exchanged vows later that year, becoming one of the show’s most successful couples. Over the years, they’ve celebrated milestones including their sixth wedding anniversary, romantic getaways, and the release of their book Leap of Faith.
Now, with baby Ezra finally here, Lauren said it feels like the perfect next chapter. “We’re looking forward to all the firsts — his first steps, first word, and seeing how his little face changes over time,” she told People.
