Katie Holmes, 47, and boyfriend Jason Bard Yarmosky, 38, stepped out on Thursday, August 20, to attend the Michael Kors 45th Collection event in East Hampton, New York.
The star-studded event was hosted by Michael Kors and also attended by A-listers, including Christie Brinkley and Naomi Watts. Guests enjoyed an intimate dinner and an exclusive look at Michael Kors’ new boutique opening this September at The Colony Palm Beach.
Holmes and Yarmosky, whose romance made headlines in early July, were seen enjoying each other’s company at the East Hampton event at The Hedges Inn. Photos shared by PEOPLE show Holmes and the New York-based artist holding hands as they socialized with guests.
The “Dawson’s Creek” actress wore a plum-colored dress with red heels, while Yarmosky dressed in all black.

According to PEOPLE, Holmes and Yarmosky’s relationship became romantic after they casually met at a dinner. Shortly after their first encounter, Holmes and Yarmosky reportedly went on a more intimate dinner date, taking their relationship to the next level.
On July 10, the pair were seen holding hands at the screening for “The Invite.” A source later revealed to PEOPLE that the couple “looked very cute” together.
“He was whispering in her ear, and she was laughing, they seemed very easy together, and there was a smile on her face all night. They sat together during the movie, she had her head on his shoulder at one point,” the insider added.
After several months into their romance, a source shared with PEOPLE that Holmes, who is previously linked to Tom Cruise, Chris Klein, and Joshua Jackson, “has always been drawn to people who are creative,” adding, “She loves being around people who are passionate about what they do. She enjoys learning and experiencing new things.”

Since making their relationship public, the actress and well-known artist have been seen on several dates in NYC, including dinner in Manhattan on July 14 and an exclusive Soho Sessions concert on July 21.
After her highly publicized 2012 divorce from Cruise, Holmes opened up to Us Magazine about her romantic outlook, telling the outlet, “[I don’t] have a five or 10-year plan.”
“I feel like I’m still a teenager in a lot of ways,” she added. “I do a lot of things I did then. I paint, I color. I cook sometimes. I still feel like a girl. I don’t quite feel like a woman. I’ll probably be 90 and feel like, ‘Not a woman yet.’”
Despite her feelings of uncertainty at the time, Holmes recently dished to Elle about how comfortable she is with Yarmosky. “I think we just have similar taste,” the “Alone Together” actress said at an event at the Ferragamo in July.
