Nancy Guthrie’s Neighbor Installs Cameras Amid Her Disappearance As Community Remains ‘Very Concerned’

Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance has left many shaken, including many of her neighbors in the Tucson area.

Specifically, Lloyd Anderson, who lives near Nancy and attends church with her, spoke with Fox News Digital, explaining why he upgraded his home security following this scary situation.

“I have had alarms, and I just recently put cameras in too,” Anderson said. “It’s certainly different. We’ve never gone through this before. It’s something we just have to live through. And I knew Nancy, and I think she was a wonderful lady. And I think we just got to give her our best wishes and God’s help.”

“I think everyone who knows about this is very concerned and hoping that she is returned to her family as she left,” he added.

An open letter to the kidnappers sits in a memorial set up next to the driveway of Nancy Guthrie’s residence on February 19, 2026, in Tucson, Arizona.

Outside of Nancy’s home, a memorial has been set up, which includes yellow flowers and sweet messages as the search for her continues. Specifically, on Thursday, February 19, a small vigil was held where neighbors continued to pray for her safe return. And with that, numerous photos were taken, including a letter that was left at the memorial to Nancy’s abductors.

The letter that was written on stationery from The Ritz-Carlton, which said right on the front, “AN OPEN LETTER TO THE KIDNAPPERS.”

‘Today’ Cohosts Show Support For Savannah Guthrie

During the Wednesday, February 18, episode, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin, Carson Daly and Al Roker wore small yellow-ribbon pins and had yellow flowers in the NBC studio to symbolize hope.

“So many people [are] placing yellow flowers near Nancy’s home and all across the city [of Tucson, Arizona],” Kotb said (per US Weekly). “We got a suggestion from one of our viewers here, we’re doing the same here.”

“Yellow roses around Studio 1A and we’re all wearing ribbons as we send our love to Savannah and her family.”

Authorities Asking The Public For Help

According to TMZ, law enforcement is focusing more on suspects that match the figure seen on surveillance videos at Nancy’s home, specifically those who have been missing from the public eye in recent weeks.

According to the outlet, investigators “want people, especially in the Tucson area, to think about who has gone MIA for the last 3 weeks, and there’s now a fair amount of information that could help ID the kidnapper.”

  3. I also think the person in the video is a woman because of the eye brows and the fact that they are wearing a mask that shows the facial hair causing viewers to think it is a man with a mustache and goatee. Why else would they wear a mask with a huge mouth hole? They wanted their facial hair to be seen. And what man is gonna choose flowers to cover the camera lens? This person wanted to be seen and appear to be a man. Look at video above without pushing ‘play’ button. The way the person is standing or walking looks like a female. Maybe it’s a staged video by Nancy’s daughter that is taking place while the son in law is entering thru the back to put all of Nancy’s personal items like purse and cell phone in the house as if she was dropped off earlier that night like they claim. Where is the video of Nancy being dropped off by the son in law? Maybe something happened to Nancy at the daughters house that night and she never made it home. And the daughter naturally comes up with a kidnapping story, since she has experience in acting out kidnapping scenarios when she would play the kidnapping game as a child with her sister, mom, and aunt.
