Gia Giudice, Melissa, and Joe Gorga Clear the Air About Family Drama

For the first time, Melissa and Joe Gorga have appeared on their niece Gia Giudice’s podcast “Casual Chaos” to clear the air about the family drama that dominated RHONJ for many years.

The reality stars sat down to discuss the drama that divided their clan, and all things “Real Housewives of New Jersey” in a new episode. They also celebrated the progress they’ve made and the stronger family bonds that followed.

Gia Giudice, Melissa, and Joe Gorga Faced off on ‘Casual Chaos’

In a new episode of Gia Giudice’s podcast “Casual Chaos,” she sat down with her aunt and uncle, Melissa and Joe Gorga, to update fans on their family dynamic and RHONJ.

“Fans have seen, through the show, our family go through the wringer,” Giudice began. “We are not here to rehash the past, but I guess, let’s talk about how we got here. What do you think was the first turning point for our family?”

Melissa said, “There have been lots of ups and downs and back and forth. Everyone has their moment but it’s been a rollercoaster.”

Giudice dove into several key moments that divided the family. The first was the “strippergate” drama that was the cornerstone of Season 4 of RHONJ. The drama ensued after Teresa Giudice was accused of spreading rumors that her sister-in-law danced for a living.

“Do you really feel my mom was behind that?” Giudice asked her aunt. “Or do you feel like it was Kim D and other people that just put her in an awful situation?”

Melissa responded that Teresa unknowingly “gets herself in these situations, and I don’t think she realizes how it’s going to look after. That would happen a lot in those seasons.”

Looking back, Melissa believes she and Teresa needed to “communicate more. Back in the day, we were both mad at things. The more you try to drag people down, you’re not gonna win. It’s gonna make you look worse.”

Guidice then addressed the cheating allegations leveled against Gorga during Season 13. She claimed, “Mom didn’t bring it to the show, but Jen [Aydin] brought it to Danielle [Cabral].”

“I think its the outsiders that created so much turmoil,” Guidce deduced. “And it really wasn’t between the two of you.”

When did Teresa Giudice, Melissa and Joe Gorga Reconcile?

Melissa and Joe Gorga and Teresa Giudice reconciled after a long estrangement in 2025. Tensions between the sisters-in-law were high from the moment Melissa debuted on the series, but it appeared everyone had called a cease-fire when Guidice served time in prison in 2013.

By Season 7 of the Bravo series, the women made a pact that they would no longer fight. But that truce was short-lived reported PEOPLE.

Season 9 showed their relationship taking a downward spiral, where outside influences got in the way of their family unit. Subsequently, they began to trust one another less, so by the time Teresa married Luis Ruelas, the family was completely fractured.

The series came to a head by the end of Season 14. RHONJ took a two-year hiatus, and the family members decided it was time to reconcile their relationship privately by the 2025 holiday season.

“The Real Housewives of New Jersey” is currently on hiatus. The series will begin filming Season 15 this spring.

  1. Daughters always stick by their mothers. She could also spin that Tresea was innocent and should not have gone to prison. Tresea and her unemployed husband will probably such up to Aiden’s for some stupid investment. Ha ha suckers .
